21.01.2022 FARM LIFE CAPTURED IN PHOTOS The Ravensthorpe Agricultural Initiative Network (R.A.I.N) is currently in the middle of a photography competition, encouragin...g locals to get snappy and capture the world around them. The competition has been held before but R.A.I.N executive officer Elisa Spengler said they decided to hold it again to bring people together during these strange pandemic days. "We just thought given COVID and the flat mood around the place, it was nice to encourage people to get out in nature and lift the mood a bit," she said. "It's really about celebrating where we live and the agricultural industry." The competition closes on June 8th and entries can be from anywhere within the R.A.I.N service area this spans from Munglinup to the east, through to Hopetoun on the coast, inland to Varley and out west to Fitzgerald. Some of the entries so far submitted by Anne Bell, Marcia Norrish and Maxine Nankervis.

21.01.2022 #FWlittlefarmers - Jack Lester is a four-year-old farmer from Bremer Bay. He jumps off the school bus and is excited to get straight out in the paddock with ...dad for some tractor rides. A great helper in the sheep yards, Jack helps move the sheep through the race and loves to watch everyone at work in the shed. He loves livestock and hopes that dad will get some cattle soon. 05.01.2022 C&C Machinery has a new truck!! Just here arrived today! Piet is pretty excited about his new rig that is upgrading the Freightliner that he is currently driving. It does have a fair bit more chrome on it than the last one (that he has already tried to persuade us all to help him polish). There's a few jobs to do on the truck first before we fit the trailer, then it will be out and about delivering machines

03.01.2022 Notice on COVID-19 (Coronavirus) - Long post so please bear with us... To all our Valued Customers: We are still open but in line with the information provided by the Australian Government, we have made some changes to the way we conduct our business.... When you visit the shop you will notice measures to allow for social distancing: 1. Access to the workshop is restricted to C&C Machinery staff only. If you need to speak to someone in the workshop, please either phone or come to the front office and we will get the person you need to come to you. 2. Limited access into the parts showroom. You can still come in and speak with us but please don’t be offended that you can’t browse the whole store at the moment. 3. If you are in looking at either new or second-hand tractors and equipment, our salesmen will greet you with a friendly smile but won’t shake your hand. All our staff have increased hand hygiene and we are regularly cleaning down work surfaces and bench tops. Additionally, where possible please consider phoning ahead for parts and filter orders. We can pick your parts and have them ready for collection out the front of the building (we will also drop parts direct to your car if you would prefer not to come in). You can also send us part enquiries by email if you need to get photos to us rather than bringing the parts in. From a service point of view, our technicians are still conducting field service work. However, we respectfully ask that you make arrangements for the machine and keys to be left out and that you not be in attendance when our technicians are working on the machine. For payments, we apologise but cannot accept cash or cheques until further notice. For account customers, we will bill your account directly and continue to send invoices and statements. Cash customers have the option of using our EFTPOS Pay Pass facility or we can process credit card payments by telephone. We will continue to provide a service to our customers to the best of our ability and thank you for working with us to do our bit to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
