17.01.2022 Well its only 15 days before Tony Zahra and his walk crew depart Australia and arrive at Kanchanaburi, Thailand to walk the Burma/Thai rail line from the Thre...e Pogodas Pass to Non Pladuk where possible. The walk is over 300 km thru dense jungle in steamy conditions arriving at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery for ANZAC Day 2018. We have a touring party leaving on Saturday 21/4 for 9 days which will spends the last 4 days with the legend Tony Zahra. This will be a great trip to witness a once in a life time experience. 09.01.2022 51 years ago today - 18 August 1966, 105 young Australians of Delta Company, 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (half of them conscripts) along with 3 New... Zealanders attached from 161 Battery, 16 Field Regiment, Royal New Zealand Artillery, fought for their lives against an overwhelming enemy force of 2,500 battle hardened North Vietnamese and Main Force Viet Cong, in a rubber plantation called Long Tan. These 18 young Australians, one from every state of Australia, gave their lives in the service of their country. Lest we forget these 18 brave Australians and of course the hundreds of former Vietnamese foes who perished in this incredible battle. We also remember the extraordinary duty, service, skill and gallantry of the supporting Australian, New Zealand and U.S. Army artillery in this battle, the RAAF, the Australian Armoured Corps and the U.S. Air Force. These circumstances of an Australian Infantry Company defeating an enemy force 25 times their size with combined arms support, was so extraordinary that Delta Company, 6RAR were awarded the U.S. Presidential Unit Citation for Gallantry, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation from the South Vietnamese Government, and the Australian Unit Citation for Gallantry. Today is also a day to remember and honour all of the 521 Australians and 37 New Zealanders who made the supreme sacrifice in the Vietnam War.

The offender was driving a WHITE VZ SS COMMODORE at 11:25am then the trailer 1THB247 is the trailer rego they stole this m...orning and likely went through Kalamunda and down the hill. Anyone with cameras that could have picked it up please have a look.. Please help and share as much as possible. Today our shed was broken into and Blown LS7 motor was stolen including my Hughes performance Turbo 400 gearbox attached. They took my box trailer at the same time. Please share and keep an eye out.trailer was a green box trailer with hills boys on the back $5000 reward for anyone who leads to finding the engine.Just want the engine back!! My number is 0407087689 $5000 is more than you would get for it stolen and I just want it back it has a heap of custom bit that are to suit my car worth nothing to you. See more
