20.01.2022 You may have noticed that weve got a new tagline here at C Care: Connecting through food & friendship. Why the change? Because while we are the leading organisation tackling food insecurity issues in Melbournes Jewish Community, were so much more than just that. ... We, and our volunteers, focus just as much on ensuring a sense of friendship and belonging - whether youre a recipient, volunteer or community partner, youll always be a friend of C Care. 18.01.2022 Do you know a small business who would like to donate extra fruit and vegetables to C Care? Were so grateful to the organisations who receive excess produce from Coles and Woolworths pass some on to us - but were looking to cut down on the handover time during which the produce gets older. Wed love to partner with small businesses and take the excess produce off their hands straight away. Well then give it to C Care recipients to eat fresh or use it to make yummy things... like compote, fruit cake or soup! Were specifically looking for all fruit, root vegetables, capsicum, zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower and broccoli. Tell your local shop or food vendor about us today! Or get in touch with us at [email protected] or 9636 3321. C Care: Connecting through food & friendship.

Their hobbies include baking, spending time in the park with their adorable dog (named Happy!), and sitting on the beach.
