18.01.2022 We want to thank the Melton community for continuing to support us through shopping in our EV Op Shop and buying from our EV Cafe. We have continued to provide cooked meals to CCCM Foodbank throughout the last few months and will be re launching a few new initiatives to support our community in the coming weeks. These will be available while we are in lockdown and continue on once we have some form of normality back. We miss the hustle and bustle of our free sit down meals. We miss the regulars we used to have here often but are very grateful to the few volunteers that have helped keep us going this year. Keep safe everyone. Blessings and love the CCWM team.

When dollars are tight we want you to know that your tummy doesn't have to skip a meal. We've got you xx

We are so glad to get our COVID-19 update up and running with our new free takeaway lunchpack running through our fundraising cafe Earth Village Cafe . Our first week we were able to give away 68 free lunchpacks with an increase to 84 last week. Our third week is underway! We have been unable to run programs as we used to due to COVID-19 restrictions, but are so glad to see meals starting to get back out to those who need them xx #NoOneShouldGoHungry #nodaywithoutfood Earth Village Cafe
14.01.2022 Julie is one of our founders. She’s our chairperson and helps to set vision and purpose to reach into our Melton community. She’s a valued volunteer and also works in our Earth Village Cafe kitchen as a food safety supervisor. She has recently taken on various roles to set up our Online Op Shop. She will be a great asset to the Melton community as a councillor.

07.01.2022 Despite having periods of no income at all over the past few months and a struggle to re invent how we do things here; we are proud that we have continued to cook meals for Combined Churches Caring Melton every week. Meals cooked with much love and care for our Melton community. . Maryanne and Lisa in the kitchen are two of our awesome cooks. (They are smiling behind those masks) Keep an eye out for announcements in the next few weeks on our new initiatives to serve the people of Melton.

04.01.2022 Volunteer appreciation week! We can’t thank Annie-Maree enough for all of the time and passion that she gives to CCWM. She’s the one to go to, the one to complain to, the one to change the way things look or where things go. She’s the Bees Knees and the Boss. She’s the caring shoulder to cry on and the one to faithfully push others along into their abilities and gifts. She sees the best in everyone and loves to create new things. During lock down she has been super busy along with some fabulous volunteers setting up the Online Op Shop. We are proud of this lady. Her heart print is on all that we do
