19.01.2022 "That, as Catholics, we should support arranged marriage" Some of the Society's most seasoned fighters took on this controversial topic for our first debate of the year, and, with only some bloodshed and tears of success, a close battle was won by the Affirmative side. Congratulations to both teams:... AFF - Seamus Coulson, Jerome Shogren, Awtel Power NEG - Madeleine Kirk, Barry Ryan, Michael Scattergood Thanks to our kindly celeb adjudicator, Peter O'Donovan, and photographer Annalise Day <3

12.01.2022 Our 2015 AGM and final social event for the year was held at the AW house on a balmy Saturday night with plenty of wine, cheese and laffs to be had. Congratulations and welcome to the new executive and Deo Gratias for a wonderful year! To many more! Photos by Jono Grace.

12.01.2022 Our friends at the Lachlan Macquarie Internship again joined us for a passionate debate on the topic: "That marriage should no longer be under the state" After some heated discussion on the true nature of marriage, the state and the role of Christians in public life, the victory was handed to the defending champions at LMI. We were also joined by journalist Chris Ashton, who gave a rousing defence of the possibility of a marriage institution seperate from the state.

01.01.2022 One of the most highly-anticipated debating events of the year took place again at the conclusion of Trinity Term, featuring the following Campion College staff: AFF: Jeremy Bell... Luciano Boschiero Matthew Tan NEG: Steve Chavura Keziah Doughty Stephen McInerney (played by Katherine Turnbull, third year student, due to illness) On the topic, "that the internet is of the devil", the debate was given to the Negative team after a valiant battle by all.

01.01.2022 This team of visionaries is arguing the negative on the topic "That religion should not drive a leader's policies in a secular democracy" at the grand final of the inaugural Australian Public Theology Debate Tournament! It will be held at 7:30pm at the Centre for Christianity and Culture on 15 Blackall St, Barton ACT if you're in the area! All supporters and interested parties welcome :)
