This opportunity is permanent full-time and will also include Saturday morning work. Applicants will need to have their own transport and we ask that you personally deliver your resume to our Practice Manager, Lisa, at our Gosford practice on a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.

We are interested in someone to fill 2 office junior positions, and would also like to find someone with experience in the optical industry or a qualified dispenser. The positions are all full time and will include Saturday morning work. 19.01.2022 In 1995, a young new graduate Optometrist from QUT in Brisbane, Katy Stephens, packed her bags and moved to the NSW Central Coast to start a new life. 25 years ago today, Katy began her first job as an Optometrist, with McFarland & Madgwick Optometrists. In 2000, the practice then became McFarland & Casey. That name has since evolved to Central Coast Eyecare. In those 25 years, Katy has established a reputation as a comprehensive, caring and fantastic practitioner. She has ...seen a new partner join the business, staff numbers grow, patient and customer numbers sky rocket as she and the entire business improved year upon year. During that time, she has also been an incredible mother to four children, two daughters and two sons, which is in itself, another full-time job. Many of her long-term patients have been with her for the ride, seeing her pregnant, through to those very same babies at university and high school. Congratulations Katy on 25 incredible years with Central Coast Eyecare, and also for this year that marked 20 years of you owning the business (something you let quietly go by without saying a word). Your family, friends and work colleagues all admire and appreciate you, and are grateful for the kind, humble and gentle person that you are. Those qualities all transcend into your work, and it’s made you the Optometrist you are today, much loved and respected. Katy is the kind of person that shies away from any adulation and praise. As such, she would happily let this significant moment pass without acknowledgement if she had her way.
