19.01.2022 Here at the Central Coast Community Shed Inc. we always recycle, re-use or re-imagine. Drop in and discover how you can help yourself, our world and save money.

19.01.2022 This morning a 'homeless' man told me I was a 'nothing' and that our Shed was 'funded' to provide food (Second Bite) to folk like him. As this is the second time I have been abused by people who believe Sheds such as ours are here for them alone I am taking a stand. Firstly, the Shed receives NO funding whatsoever, we pay commercial rent and also pay for all services. Secondly, the Shed is NOT run as an ancillary service to the homeless or drug addicted, that we don't prof...ile people is our strength, not our weakness. Thirdly, we have been running the Shed now for three years and NO we don't do it because we 'love' it or because people 'depend' on us. Eunice and I run this Shed simply because we can! I will not be bullied again, just because we have refrained from banning people in the past does not mean we cannot, which is why the man this morning was banned. Also if any person ever again talks violently or threatens either myself, Eunice or any one associated with our Shed we will take measures to restrict access to Members only. I am sorry to be speaking this way but we have to stand tall, stand proud against all forms of bullying. See more

19.01.2022 The cold is setting in, what better idea than to sneak down to the shed and grab some second hand books and some winter woolies (made with care by locals on the Coast). Cook books, fiction, crafty books or kids books and more... read them while wrapped in a handcrafted blanket or scarf! Come on down get a cup of tea and a chat and have a wander through the shed. Do it while you return and earn! 59B Howarth Street Wyong!

17.01.2022 The Central Coast Community Shed truck was out and about our beautiful part of the world today. We moved a lovely family to their new home and afterwards the driver decided to dip his toes into the sand at Copacabana Beach

11.01.2022 The Central Coast is again under attack as the NSW Government lies about "debt" and attempts to sell off our assets to their mates at mates' rates. The only debt that exists is to the Coast's ratepayers who have bailed out this government's incompetence before amalgamation, then during the amalgamation and now as we try to recover from Covid they send in the heavies. Well we dealt with them before and we'll do it again. The true power is held within people not ideology. A few thousand Coasties on the streets of Sydney backed by the unions who are fighting LNP greed and corruption every inch of the way will bring NSW to a standstill. We can do this, Qantas, Amazon, Coles, Uber and the other supporters of wage and asset theft are now on notice. The man in the street will become the men who control the streets.

10.01.2022 Napoleon Bonaparte once said "Great ambition is the passion of a great character. Those endowed with it may perform very good or very bad acts. All depends on the principles which direct them." Today at the Shed, Team Napoleon are attempting to change the history with a wargame bringing members of the Shed together for a great afternoon of fun, camraderie and epic strategy.
