25.01.2022 Hi All, Well we seem to be coming out the other side of this crisis. As such, our committee have reviewed what is needed & changed, as well as what work is required to get the grounds and track ready for racing again. There is a lot to do, and we hope many of you could help out ... So we are planning the following -... 1. Working Bee on Saturday 6th June 9am, we need helpers for mowing, edging, the compound, panel replacement, painting, grading, rolling/packing, equipment maintenance and more, then 2. Full practice day is confirmed for Sunday 14th June, running under the current 10 person restrictions in place. You will need to pre-register and pre-pay via the Karting NSW website (available soon). Also let us know if we have any Come & Tries interested, and we'll see where we can fit them in. 3. First race day back - Sunday 5th July - The Alan Hann Memorial. Supp-regs and meeting entries will be submitted under current restrictions, however as you are aware these may be lifted further by then. 25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We finally have great weather, but the Committee has decided after consideration of many factors, we will be cancelling the next 2 Club Rounds set for Sun Aug 23 & Sat Sept 12. This is as per KNSW's latest update and the NSW Chief Health Officer’s request for the next 6 weeks to cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and officials from different regions and ceasing any activities that result in overnight stays. At this stage we are still plann...ing to run the practice day on Sun Sep 13 for drivers in our region. Any pre-entries for these two Club rounds will be automatically refunded. 25.01.2022 To Karts that are competing in the New South Wales titles held at Central Coast Speedway Kart Club, we regret to inform you that we have to cancel the meeting for this weekend and we will reschedule to 16th & 17th November. Track is too badly damaged and the grounds are too heavy and muddy.

24.01.2022 Good evening all Kart , well as president Of Central Coast speedway Kart club I didn’t think I’d be announcing this to you all but these are interesting times that we are living. So until further notice ccskc will be ceasing all race meetings and practice rounds and committee meetings. The executive committee will be meeting via telephone conferencing. we will keep you updated and informed as much as we possibly can and as soon as we possibly can.

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Some updates for this weekends racing ... All drivers entered, also need to submit an online Scrutineering form - available from KNSW website - use the Sprint version. You will also receive a copy of the Supp Regs and Drivers Briefing. Then everyone attending (including spectators now), should have the CovIDSafe app on their phone, and will need to register their attendance by scanning the KNSW QR code (placed around entry points) and entering some basic details.... Please ensure you follow the latest KNSW Guidelines V6.0 just released today, especially maintaining the required distancing in the pits and grid areas. There is no need to remove cars from pits, however, Camping overnight is currently not allowed. Club reps and Officials will have copies of and updates on all the latest requirements on the day. Most of all, please do not attend if u have any CovID symptoms, have been overseas, or have had contact with any known cases recently. We will have some basic BBQ food and drinks available on the day, but the local Markets will also be running until approx 1pm. 23.01.2022 Hi All, As expected we are postponing this weekends racing Rnd 1 due to the weather. The track and grounds are waterlogged. The track needs a full regrade and with wet stuff all day today and further predicted we would all need gumboots. So all current entries will be transferred to Rnd 2 in March, and volunteers also. We will announce the rerun date in due course.

21.01.2022 Hi all speedway fans just let you know due to the weather we will be holding come and try as well as practice on Saturday the 7-9-19 afternoon starting after track work and set up about 12:00 pm. So track time will be restricted

20.01.2022 Hi All, regarding practice on Sunday 14th June ... 1) We will be able to have max groups of 20 now. 2) Driver pre-entries will be their attendance records, no other forms needed. 3) All other officials/pit crew/family members who attend, will need to fill out an attendance record on the day. 4) All other CovID-19 guidelines will be posted and need to be followed. 20.01.2022 Hi All, Not the news you all want to hear, but we are postponing the KT 50 Lap Meeting and our Practice day/Come & Try day. This is due to a combination of factors, such as the bad weather looming and our members Covid-19 safety concerns at this time. At this stage we are looking at rescheduling the 50 Lap meeting to the October long weekend, with all entries automatically transferred, and will advise when the next practice/come & tries can take place. 14.01.2022 Hi All, Well another weekend at home has passed, instead of being out and about racing due to the COVID-19 restrictions, however it is a good time to get all your Karts and Trailers cleaned and ready for when we do go back. From recent updates this may not be for many months now, meantime we can all try some of the online racing programs available. Our Committee has also met regarding the status of the Club, and we felt it appropriate to let all our members know, that once t...his non-racing period is over (starting 15th March), we will be extending all Membership expiry dates, to cover this period of enforced non-activity. So, any Memberships that are due during this period, may also still be paid (and will be extended), so you are ready for racing resumption. Now with Karting NSW also extending licences similarly, no one will be out of pocket ! We are also reviewing the calendar for the second half of the year, to see how much racing will be possible to fit in. So for now, we hope that everyone is following all the restrictions and keeping safe. 14.01.2022 Hi All, We are looking forward to a great 50 lap event. Note that all drivers will also need to submit an online scrutineering form for the new date by Friday. Remember the daylight saving change too - clocks forward 1 hr Sun morning. We will be able to post a race order/estimated schedule once all entries are in. There will be a BBQ running as well as camping avail for $35 per campsite. And there are no longer any spectator restrictions, other than social distancing ! See you all soon !

14.01.2022 CCSKC have been unable to secure officials for the twilight meeting scheduled for Saturday, 7th September. Please be advised this meeting will now run on Sunday, 8th September 2019 as a daytime meeting.

13.01.2022 Hi everyone - some important updates - Just advising that anyone who was intending to race at the Nepean Speedway track this weekend, with NSW Speedway Kart Club, that the event unfortunately has been postponed. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing everyone to consider how we interact with each other and our larger racing community, with safety requirements changing by the hour. As such, the Nepean Speedway track have suspended all events until further notice, therefore upcoming... NSWSKC events are also suspended/postponed. In regards to our Gosford Show and our regular display - this years 2020 Show has been completely cancelled. Now, our next Club Round is due on May 9. At this stage we are also waiting on further advice before submitting any Supp Regs for this event to go ahead. So stay tuned to Facebook and our website for any updates. Our next race meet is now the Alan Hann memorial on Sun 5th July, with pre-entries available shortly. 06.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just letting you know that entries for the Alan Hann Rnd 5 meeting are now open on KNSW portal. Those previous drivers with credits have already been entered. The good news is from this meeting spectators and families will be allowed, but many CovID-19 restrictions will still be in place. All drivers will receive a copy of the Drivers Briefing next week, but must also submit a Scrutineering Form prior to racing (also available from KNSW website). 03.01.2022 Hi All, Finally our first meeting and round 5 of the 2020 Club Championship completed ! It was a fantastic winter day with lots of hot racing on a quick track. All drivers were happy to finally be back racing since all the CovID-19 downtime. It was great to have some new drivers who also received trophies at their first meeting ! All results are on Speedhive, and the Club Championship will also be uploaded there later this week.... Congratulations to Gary Morris and Logan Carter for winning the Alan Hann Memorial trophy honors. Thanks also to all our Club Volunteers on the day - Bill Morley, Nikki Carter, Artie Buettel, Wendy Jones, Lachlan Barr, the Hosie clan, the Hensby family and Greg Ryan on our track crew, those who help pack up ... hope i haven't missed anybody ... but just know that all help is appreciated no matter how small the effort. 01.01.2022 Congratulations to Jack Black - our 2020 Central Coast 50 Lap KT Shootout winner ! Jack also triumphed in the earlier Pole Shuffle. Luke Geering was runner up after leading the first stage, and Brayden Shute came home a hard fought third. In our support classes - Tyson Risbridger won the Juniors, Gary Morris the 125s, Logan Carter was excited with his win in Novices, and Zane Rainey took out the Rookies. A full report will follow.
