21.01.2022 Not much time tonight but over coming weeks we will update this Though there is a lot to explain and more to let you the public/potential clients know What is out there and some differences Reason being other installers are selling 6mp IP cameras in tenfold, but will this give you what you want Is it the way to go or should we wait till the technology is ready to do what it needs to for you the client... Then it boils down to bang for buck I will try to keep it short but have to say few words to try and explain A picture says it all Picture in the day might be great but there is so much more to it I still believe strongly in 2mp cameras for most things It all depends on budget, light, placement, will you see what you need too or have to Can you tell if someone is there or not, can you see the colour of clothing, car etc. The list is endless There will be few more pictures added to this post as I get through them One main thing being higher resolution as in 4mp, 6mp, 8mp etc is the frame rate, and believe me look at the specs of the NVR youre getting Because most of the cheaper range recorders will do say 2 x 8mp cameras at 7 frames a second, that looks great in day light and still object, get a moving car or running person, then go to night time when most issues happen and you will get near nothing, it will be the pictures you see of few lights but it looks more like a stream or continuous line of light Yes 8mp, 25mp even 50mp are fantastic for their given situation and need dont get me wrong But for the majority 2mp and if ambient light starlight type why firstly as you will see looking at various images below that 1. You get a much further field of view 2. You can see so much more 3. Recognise colours When you use IR or Black and white at night, yes in very low light or no light this is needed there is no option Depending on budget IR illuminators is a way to go, or even solar lights spot lights you can hang of your gutter and or fence The main issue with IR or black and white at night is 1. You cant see the colour of clothes some cases you wont even see the person or object 2. IR reflects of signs, registration plates, rain, insects, even greasy face, or the even worse is the reflective strips on clothing 3. Attracts insects in turn spiders from those come the webs, then the web actually lights up with IR I dont want to go into too much detail other installers out there may get upset, But you watch recorded footage on a system at night with 6mp when cars go by etc Then see in a few months the webs that are over the cameras, ok if a single story clean them if a double story, will you call your installer back to do this for you?? The cameras in the image with prices on them are in the same place as all images also the name in the bottom left so you know which cameras are which Then we have a day time view and night time via iPhone with no special effects turned on I will leave it there for now

09.01.2022 We installed a system for someone about 7 weeks ago, due to issues they where having at the time, that issue stopped, however yesterday they was broken into, hidding and covering there faces from the cameras, there was a camera somewhere else on the house that was not seen so a great bit of clear face and footage was cought. Today Saturday 30 Dec, I went to site, coppied the footage on a USB for the client to hand to the police, a snap shot was posted and I beleive was about 15 minutes for them to be recognised and with name and address Just have to wait and see if they are brought to justice
07.01.2022 WHY YOU DO NOT NEED A 6MP/8MP CAMERA! As the saying goes, a picture paints a thousand words so well let you see for yourself below. But just to give you a quick explainer of why the 2mp Starlight Colour @ Night cameras we recommend are not only cheaper but far superior and we can use your existing cables potentially saving you thousands. There are many cameras for various situations, the 2mp Colour @ Night camera far outweighs the 6mp/8mp cameras with night time images (when... crimes are mostly committed) as youll see below. The main problems with these more expensive cameras is that you cannot distinguish colour (clothes, a car etc.), the IR reflects off signs, registration plates, rain, insects or even a sweaty face!
