25.01.2022 Especially in front of a wonderful, blazing fireplace with a nice cup of drink and choc-chip cookies within arm's reach on a lazy, rainy, dreary-looking afternoon.

24.01.2022 Hmm...I'll have to think about this. What would you paint on yours?

21.01.2022 Valentine's Day is coming everyone, with today being Rose Day. Wednesday, however, is my personal favourite: Chocolate Day. So wander in and check out our hand-picked genre of romance novels on display - you'll just fall in love with the selection.

21.01.2022 If you're looking for that next great read, link to this website called 'goodreads' and find out what everyone else is reading... https://www.goodreads.com/genres/young-adult You can also CREATE YOUR OWN PROFILE here and keep an online record of everything you are reading, or challenge yourself like I have to read 20 books this year.... Add me if you'd like to join our school book club group where you can discuss books and stories with other like-minded readers of impeccable taste in literature. Here's the link to get started: https://www.goodreads.com///176433-ccwtc-reading-community Have a good one.

21.01.2022 Love this idea. I challenge you all to come up with a book spine poem utilising your own books. Post your poem here in this thread. "Maybe one day getting the love you want, when they turn away, the one known and loved like moonlight at low tide, only a dream away - more lost than found."... Books are like people, they come and go in our lives. Some characters and stories leave a mark in our hearts, yet some are easily forgotten. The book cover attracts the readers, similar to how a person is easily fooled by physical appearance. But in the bigger picture, the soul of the book will always matter most. And maybe, just maybe, books having simple covers, mean much more than anything else. "Like the moonlight at low tide, always there, yet seldom noticed."

21.01.2022 My congratulations to our 3 NSW Premier's Reading Challenge award recipients. What a fantastic job and an amazing achievement: 3 from CCWTC out of c300 awarded across the state.

21.01.2022 Nice. Welcome back to school, everyone.

21.01.2022 #ExtremeReading

20.01.2022 Does this remind you of anybody who would so dearly prefer to have this?

20.01.2022 FYI, my friends. http://www.epicreads.com//the-21-most-anticipated-ya-book/

20.01.2022 Take up the challenge and let me know your results.

17.01.2022 A quote for you all.

17.01.2022 Definitely worth checking out with the holidays fast approaching. http://www.bookishbuzz.com//15-book-series-to-read-if-you-

17.01.2022 Especially over the holidays. Now is a great time to get some of that PRC reading completed. Enjoy your break, everyone, and see you refreshed and energised for Term 2.

15.01.2022 Have a look at this amazing book trailer for one of our new books here at the library. https://youtu.be/XWrNyVhSJUU

15.01.2022 Famous authors I've met. First up is John Marsden, who wrote the amazing "Tomorrow when the war began" series. Have you met any?

14.01.2022 A copy of an assembly speech by one of our Principal's Reading Challenge monthly award winners about what reading means to her. This was received with much fanfare at the end. I am so proud of you, girl.

13.01.2022 Yr 10IPT hard at work on day one. Welcome back.

13.01.2022 I hope you have all enjoyed your holidays because it's now time to start uploading those amazing 'summer reading extreme photos' for the January competition. Or simply provide a digital copy of your entry to me in the library and let me know if it's okay to post your entry here. Post your photos to this thread using the comments option.... Best of luck, everyone.

12.01.2022 From the talented author herself, Julie Kagawa lists her top 10 dragons in fiction. See if you agree... http://www.theguardian.com//m/05/top-10-dragons-in-fiction

12.01.2022 With friends and a great book. What more can I say?

10.01.2022 The project is nearing completion. Just have to finish painting the pole, now. What do you all think?

10.01.2022 Love this idea below for the top of our stairs! Who wants to help me make it a reality and help choose the books to display here?

10.01.2022 Too true - especially with that engrossing book you just loved reading for that first time...

06.01.2022 My "to do" list for 2016. (Some completed already.) Definitely - books are always better than the movies (apart from The Lord of the Rings trilogy - what an epic and successful undertaking by Peter Jackson and his crew). The books are still good reading, though... https://www.commonsensemedia.org//14-books-to-read-before-

06.01.2022 A treat for those who want a sneak preview of Cassandra Clare's new book. http://www.ew.com//morena-baccarin-cassandra-clare-lady-mi

05.01.2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch A tune to inspire you...

05.01.2022 Read the book before the movie is released - you won't be disappointed. https://www.facebook.com/PeregrinesMovie/

03.01.2022 How awesome is this...???!!! Kansas City Public Library, where the bank's old vault has also been converted into a theatre area for the use of patrons. I wouldn't mind being locked in here overnight.

01.01.2022 Books I've read this year.
