15.01.2022 COVID-19 Message from CD&G Accountants The team at CD&G Accountants cares tremendously about the safety, health and wellbeing of all our clients and our community. We can all help slow the spread of COVID-19 with good hygiene, self-isolation & social distancing. We ask to help diminish the spread of this virus, that if you have any flu like symptoms or are feeling unwell, or have returned from overseas in the past 14 days please call or email the office to postpone yo...ur appointment. Alternatively we are more than happy to communicate electronically via emails/phone in place of your face to face interview (also a bonus because it uses less paper which is a win!!!). If you do decide to attend our office, please make sure that you have been practising good hygiene so that can eliminate the potential spread of anything. We are maintaining cleanliness and disinfection of our desks/eftpos machine and providing hand sanitizer before and after client meetings to do our part in trying to prevent the virus from spreading. A side note: Our practise is actually currently looking into launching a secure portal which will make it easier for clients to upload their documents online, and for us to then send documents back for electronic signatures to limit paper waste (and any issues with receiving snail mail). 08.01.2022 ***COVID-19 Update from CD&G*** Good afternoon everyone, As of today, clients who are attending our office to drop off papers/attend meetings with Alan will be required to phone us once arriving outside our building. We will then come down to unlock the door and greet you. This is the same procedure all the businesses in our building are implementing to reduce the amount of people walking in off the street and the traffic flow through our building. Our phone numbers wil...l be displayed on the door in case you don’t know/or forget it. We are still open for business and we will keep you updated if anything changes. Once again if you are making an appointment with us, we strongly suggest that it is arranged over the phone or via email to limit the face-to-face interaction. Have a look at this checklist it gives you an idea of what to bring to your appointment https://www.cdgaccountants.com.au//Income-Tax-Checklist.pdf ***Keep in mind that we receive your information from the Tax Office around August, so if you want to come in before that you will need to provide all documents as we won’t see anything from the ATO. Please be on time to your appointment! We normally run back to back meetings and would like to keep this process smooth sailing, so clients aren’t left waiting. If you are going to be late please phone the office. We will have hand sanitiser at the reception desk, please use this upon entering. If you are feeling unwell or have a cough/flu symptoms please call the office to reschedule. If you can’t make it into the office, we also have the option for you to send your paperwork in by mail or email. We will be ready to take appointments from the 1st of July 2020 onwards.
