24.01.2022 Have you had an opportunity visited Mirvacs Iluma Estate and the awesome parklands already developed? Well now is the perfect time to check out the new edition Dazzle Park! CDP played a big role assisting in this project to bring the community a state of the art park with a custom built market place and exciting childrens play areas. On the 9th of Feb you can enjoy a spectacular range of gourmet food & drinks, free childrens activities, free ice cream, a bouncy castle, camel rides and much more!!

23.01.2022 Have a look at the Newhaven site before the area was developed with innovative engineering and hydrological infrastructures that set the standard for WAs Water Sensitive Urban Design Principles.

21.01.2022 The dream of a house and green backyard still lives, but our houses keep getting smaller.

19.01.2022 The CDP Crew attended the first UDIA luncheon of 2020 kick-starting this years professional development. The key points of the presentation highlighted that we would have "short term [Jonathan] Pain, for long term gain".

19.01.2022 Whilst exploring the Perth CBD, there are a few hidden gems. There should be more intimate public green spaces in our CBD to provide areas for refuge, contemplation and rejuvenation. Imagine if there were more of these green stepping-stones linking throughout the city what a wonderful walk it would be.

19.01.2022 "We suggest redesigning parks to increase the naturalness, ecological function and diversity of active and passive recreational uses, which in turn can support higher-density urban areas".

19.01.2022 Weve come a long way.

18.01.2022 Opportunities and new ideas beckon during this Post Covid-19 period. Wherever possible, we at CDP are turning the business as usual residential development approach on its head and exploring new ideas and approaches However, it looks as though someone in Poland has already got the jump on us in turning (housing) development upside down

15.01.2022 "Rather than relying solely on sales to restaurants and grocery stores, it’s betting on a subscription model. Consumers will pay $149 a month for their own plot, where the farm will grow the salad greens and herbs that a particular consumer has ordered, and will get five weekly custom salads". Could the same technology and business plan in Perth be a solution to water shortages and creating a healthier population?

14.01.2022 Can anyone remember the big dome entertainment centre thing? Photo courtesy of RAC.

13.01.2022 The CDP team enjoying some well earned refreshments at the Christmas swan valley wine tour!

13.01.2022 Areas effected by the fires have started to rejuvenate!

13.01.2022 We decided a change was in order! As of the first of July weve been flourishing in our spectacular new offices at the heritage listed Wills building! Weve not only moved, weve added new members to the CDP family and changed our face with a younger and sleeker re-branding. The CDP family still offers the outstanding service that it always has, including all aspects of Urban Planning and Design, Land Feasibilities, Approval Negotiations, Project Delivery and some further enhancements and flare in our 3D visualisation capabilities. Under the leadership of our managing director Frank Arangio, & Associate Directors Kasia Betka and Justin Hansen we will continue to strive for excellence bringing you the talented and strategic thinking our clients deserve.

08.01.2022 The building now Housing CDP has strong historical roots in Perth. It was originally created as a cigarette warehouse in 1927, then converted into a Rollerskating rink in the 1950s. Soon after it was awarded heritage status in 1999, new floors were added for apartments whilst lower areas were converted into pristine office spaces. Come visit us in the W.D. & H.O. Wills building to see this beautifully preserved part of Perths history.

08.01.2022 In the horror of the fires raging in the Eastern States, I bring you a much needed story of hope. Two cousins are being hailed as heroes for rescuing injured koalas in their car and transporting them to shelters. Please consider donating to any of the charities or funds dedicated to helping the people who have lost everything. Below is a link to support the families of firefighters who have lost their lives: https://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au//support-for-firefighter-famili

08.01.2022 In a time before digital cameras, the creation of Facebook and Youtube, and certainly before the i-phone, Stockland WAs project team were instigating the next major urban development front in the Metros South-east corridor. Today the North Forrestdale urban front is an extensively developed area known as Piara Waters and Harrisdale, with a population of 20,000+ people, and corner stoned by Stocklands award winning Newhaven Estate and Harrisdale District Activity Centre. T...he Newhaven project was pioneering and innovative for its time, with many features tried and tested now considered industry standard in particular innovation in engineering and hydrology standards that have since guided the States Water Sensitive Urban Design principles today. CDP (formerly DPS) has proudly been the projects planning consultant since inception and is pleased to announce the last of the lots within this Master Planned community have now officially sold. Well done to Stockland WA and to all of its other consultants that proudly influenced this community over the last 18 years.

05.01.2022 Great news! The street food circus is coming to one of our projects; the Catalina Estate! Running every Saturday, the circus promises an evening of the best street food and live music in town!

03.01.2022 A new school has been announced in the rapidly developing Calleya Estate. We were delighted to be able to assist in this project with Stockland in securing placement of the Calleya Primary School on the Department of Educations delivery program.
