25.01.2022 Tjanpi is a traditional art-making skill some of the ladies at CDP are learning to master. Shirley's stepped into the role of mentoring others through the process. We've captured this time-lapse video of Shirley working on a goanna to demonstrate the time and effort put into each art piece. Amazing.

22.01.2022 Painting at the Clinic mural has taken place with CDP women contributing to the paintings already up on the wall. We are looking to continue working on this project until the mural is complete.

17.01.2022 CDP ladies looking fantastic in their new work shoes at the college. Great to see the ladies wearing their protective footwear for comfort and safety whilst attending activities.

16.01.2022 Prep for our home game this Saturday at Warburton oval. Shauna prepared the banner last week painting the background black. Today Cindy's working on the words, Cliff sketched the Tigers logo and Deanne is working on the detail. After last week's win, CDP workers are excited to cheer on their team on home turf. Watch this space for the finished product!

10.01.2022 A beautiful day of collecting spinifex for amazing tjanpi creations. The ladies filled bags with grass to take back to the college. They will be teaching the younger ladies how to create baskets and animals with spinifex and wool.

10.01.2022 Shauna, Claudia and Iris are focused on their painting today. They are experimenting with different sized canvas. Once their painting is complete, they will work on documenting the story of their artwork. Minymaku walkumunu waarrka!

09.01.2022 Prep for the home game this weekend! Shauna started the banner last week, painting the background black. Today Cindy's been working on the letters, Cliff sketched the Tiger logo and Deanne worked on the detail. CDP workers are excited after last week's win, looking forward to the game this Saturday at the oval. Watch this space for the finished product!

09.01.2022 An awesome session upstairs on the laptops with the ladies working on setting up personal MyGov accounts, gathering Tjanpi ideas from other online communities and basic keyboarding and research skills on a range of familiar websites for beginners.

08.01.2022 Friday (Tjanpi Day) at the college. CDP ladies moved out in the sun to warm up and work on their pieces. Quality discussion about raffia and colour choice for each piece were had, as well as dialogue about the best type of needles to work with when making large-scale pieces. Our leading hand Cindy drafted a list of materials required to suit design choice and style the women suggested for future Tjanpi making.

07.01.2022 Meet Vicky - CDP Warburton Office Support employee. She has shown great work ethic through her commitment to attending employment daily, wearing her uniform with pride and ensuring her office duties are complete to a high standard before the end of the day. We are blown away with Vicky's willingness to learn and enthusiasm to take on new tasks. What an asset to the Warburton team, Palya!

05.01.2022 Warburton's home games have been extremely exciting so far this season. CDP workers have shown great community spirit running a free sausage sizzle to ensure supporters and players are fed, with free oranges for all. Also, the banner made by the men and ladies is a great hit with the kids!
