16.01.2022 Here's our prototype of a social distancing sensor designed to measure the distance between individuals using the BBC micro:bit and Kitronik Inventor's Kit. Our ambition is to have the SDS measure distance in all directions and miniaturise it to a point where it can be worn easily. 16.01.2022 A shout out to all the teachers in Australia doing a great job teaching our kids remotely. I spoke to a principal today and asked how they were doing, I was surprised and touched by her answer. She said her teachers are really missing the kids. They're finding it hard not having the feedback from their students that classroom contact gives them. I asked my kids if they miss their teachers and they all agreed unanimously that they would rather be at school than at home learning. An upside to this upheaval may be that students, teachers and parents all have a greater appreciation of each other, what and who we have in our lives. #appreciation #teachers #remotelearning #homelearning
