21.01.2022 Happy late 100th birthday to our hall!! Due to all the craziness lately, I somehow managed to forget our 100th birthday on the 26th of June. We had planned some big celebrations to celebrate this momentous occasion but due to COVID had to cancel. Fear not however the celebrations will go on bigger and better, just abit later then we had first planned. So be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook for details in the next couple months for the rescheduled dates!

15.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the on going corona virus crisis the Cedar Pocket Hall committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our monthly markets until further notice. We hold the health of our patrons, stall holders and committee of the greatest of importance and believe this is the safest decision. We would like to thank everyone for the continued support of our hall and to hope see everyone back at our markets in the future. 14.01.2022 Buskers wanted We are still looking for a number of buskers for our centenary fair on Saturday March 6th between 8am and 2pm. This would be a great opportunity for younger musicians wanting a bit of practice and exposure. Please message us for more details!

We just wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we will not be having our community Christmas party this year , we will however be having our Christmas market on Saturday December 5th, so please come out and support us and get in to the Christmas spirit!

06.01.2022 Help! We need you! One of our biggest way of advertising our events in the past has been our committee spending many hours/days putting flyers in locals letterboxes. This however has gotten far to hard on our ageing committee. This is were we need your help! If you work somewhere we could leave flyers, or if you like to go on walks around your neighbourhood (even just the road you live on) and wouldn’t mind dropping flyers in mailboxes at the same time please let us know ASAP and we will drop you some flyers (we would love these anywhere in Gympie not just Cedar Pocket).We would be incredibly greatful for any and all help!

02.01.2022 Thankyou so much to everyone that came out and supported us today with our first market back since Covid! It was a lovely morning with great stalls, great food and great people!

02.01.2022 Hi everyone After a long wait we have some good news to share. We have finally got the go ahead from council to open our hall! Yay! Our committee will be meeting this Wednesday to ensure we are on top of our Covid safe plan requirements and hopefully after that things can start to get back to normal! We aren’t sure when our next market will be yet, but should have an answer for everyone by Thursday.... Thank you everyone for hanging in there over these strange times and we really appreciate all support received once we are operating again.

02.01.2022 Today our hall hosted the councils hall forum. There was an awesome turn out of members from other halls as well as a number of local councillors. It was a great informative event for everyone Thankyou to councils community partnerships team for putting on this event!

01.01.2022 Hey Everybody I know we’ve been pretty quiet lately, so just wanted to give you all abit of an update. Currently Cedar Pocket Hall is still closed for everything. We are currently working on our covid safe plan and then will need council to pass it. As soon as we know more about when we can reopen we will let everyone know. Thankyou for your continued support over the last couple of months, we look forward to seeing you all again soon!
