23.01.2022 Falls Creek Quick Facts Falls Creek is open to all visitors from unrestricted areas Vehicle and passenger registration is no longer required when visiting Falls Creek Chains are no longer required unless there is a large snowfall The village roads are clear of snow and open... Falls Creek is part of the Border Bubble Falls Creek community gym is closed There is no snow for guests to come and play with there has been large rainfall and almost all of the snow is now gone. The road is open past Falls Creek until the Rocky Valley Dam wall on BHP Road, there is no vehicle access past the dam wall (aiming for opening on Melb Cup weekend, pending fixing the damage to the road) The road to Pretty Valley is open The road 24 road is open MTB Bike park is closed including all trails except Aqueduct Opening TBA The What’s on guide for dining and things to do is up to date - https://www.fallscreek.com.au/whatsonguide/ The Visitor Information Centre is open Mon Fri 9am until 5pm. It will open on weekends from Melbourne Cup weekend. Activities to do when visiting Falls Creek are hiking, dining, Arts and culture walk and native flora and fauna Guests should note that the MTB Trails are not open and getting to Wallace’s Hut requires a 9km walk one way, Pretty Valley huts can be accessed via vehicle. 19.01.2022 As a child learning to ski, I wanted to be able to dance like these skiers. I taught myself a couple of cross over moves but was never much of a dancer, so I gave up and just went fast instead!
