The Chairman of the Midland and Districts Historical Society, Matthew Pavlinovich (pictured) spoke to Harvey Deegan about the Poison Gully Train Crash, WAs first major railway accident, that occurred on the Bushmead site 116 years ago on August 1st 1904. This year, Cedar Woods commemorated the crash site on the Bushmead Nature Trail by installing an educational plaque next to a piece of the uncovered ra...ilway. Conserving the history of our sites is extremely important to Cedar Woods and we work closely with local heritage and community groups to do this.
