23.01.2022 Dave from Alford received an RAA Regional Safety Grant to install a rainwater tank at his local CFS, helping to keep his community safe. Be a Bushfire Safety Legend like Dave.

22.01.2022 Water in Diesel!! Yep thats the warning indicator telling you to drain your Diesel fuel filter. Actually its not the warning light we want to see on the dash of... our Diesel Rigs. The chances of getting litres of water contaminating your Diesel fuel are very low. In reality small droplets are more likely to be the cause and it happens more commonly when filters arent changed regularly. Change your Diesel filter every 10,000km to keep things in check. 20,000km as a maximum. Manufacturers service intervals of 40 or 50 thousand NEVER do that! Thats the key to keeping this warning light from coming on. W: www.berrimadiesel.com P: 02 48771256 Or PMessage us right here on Facebook

20.01.2022 Summer is almost here, so what better way to embrace warmer weather than an SA experience?

17.01.2022 AdBlu What is it? Firstly it is NOT a fuel so PLEASE do not mistake it for Diesel AND do NOT fill your Diesel Tank up with AdBlu. ... So are new Diesels running AdBlu? It's been around for a few years now and more and more hi tech Diesels are running it. It takes away a lot of the issues associated with EGR systems let's at least say that. Do you know if your Diesel has it? From what we have heard from many people calling us most owners only stumble onto the knowledge that their new Diesel is running AdBlu. Yep... The Dealership didn't even tell them about it. This Story- Anyway here is our Mercedes Van and it's got the AdBlu warning on the screen. In fact it has been counting that warning down for a while. We have done nearly 20,000km and the AdBlu tank is just about empty. We done this so we can see what happens and pass this onto owners of AdBlu equipped Diesels so you can also understand what you need to do when owning one. About 800km ago we had the final warning countdown begin. We are just about out of AdBlu and so what's going to happen? Well once this gets to 0km left, the vehcile will power down and allow only a small distance to stop at the next town. Once the key gets turned off no more start. Key to the situation - Get to know your new Diesel by having a read of the manual and understand the simple steps you may need to take to keep it going. There is no way we could have missed the many warnings and beeps that kept saying to refil the AdBlu tank so don't worry about getting stranded Outback as you will have lots of km before you finally get stopped by the engines computer system,. 17.01.2022 If you're driving through the country this holiday season, you'll probably come across a lot of trucks (and some are really long!). To help keep everyone safe, we've got some tips from the experts about how to share the road. #roadsafety

06.01.2022 Do an Inlet and EGR system clean before you fit an oil Fumes Catch Can is something to think about. Something we advise as a "one off" job when you fit a catch... can System. An inlet manifold EGR system clean. Seen here, attached to this engine, is a commercial grade foaming machine that applies a special cleaning agent throughout the inlet manifold system. Loosening up the oiley soot gunk in the inlet so you can head off with a 'fresh start' after you've had an oil Fumes Catch Can System installed. An Inlet Manifold EGR system clean performed & an Oil Fumes Catch Can System installed Both for a packaged price $799 complete.
