20.01.2022 It’s something of a red-letter day: today I put the finishing touches on my new stand-up signing table! Most weddings have an awkward moment when it’s time for couples to sit down and sign the register. I’m sure brides in particular often spend as much time getting sat down as they spend sitting! And since almost half of my weddings have two brides, I’ve found some creative ways to avoid the need to sit altogether well that creative process has led to me building this schmic...k signing table: no sitting required! The signing surface is a laminate of Jarrah and Tasmanian Blue Gum, so it’s both solid and stylish for this important part of the ceremony. As well as being mobile, it has a secure place for everything I need to turn brides and grooms into husbands and wives, including a built-in stand for my new Mackie PA system! The first couple to use it, though, will be me and my man! And that’s why you’re getting a little sneak peek at my new logo More deets in the pics

18.01.2022 Not every bride who says she's getting married in her trackie daks is joking! #sorrynotsorry

17.01.2022 If anyone needs me, I’ll be in the corner with my Cointreau HoCho Merry Christmas everyone!

16.01.2022 A quick shout-out to my local member of the Legislative Assembly Danny O'Brien MP for putting me at ease about this potential commute to an upcoming wedding! After reading on a government website that we won’t be allowed to enter Melbubble during the lockdown, I calculated the route around the metropolis to Ballarat to be at least eight hours! But a quick email to Danny, and it turns out there’s another page that says we’re allowed to go through it after all! Must be so hard ...keeping up with all these details, but I really appreciate being able to reassure my couple that I will be on time, even if they aren’t Thanks Danny!

16.01.2022 Go against the flow and create a ceremony all your own

08.01.2022 Well that’s a whole baker’s dozen of donut days for Victoria! If this keeps up I’m going to be literally rolling to my next wedding... and I still don’t think I’d be complaining Thanks for being victorious, Victorians!

08.01.2022 #GlobalPride is a great way to celebrate in this year’s challenging circumstances. How great to see individuals, groups and organisations from places we don’t often hear from celebrating human diversity! One of my proudest moments was this amazing event last year, and I look forward to the next one I can get involved in! Happy Pride!

06.01.2022 My fiancé and I had a fantastic time at a truly remarkable wedding on the weekend

02.01.2022 A beautiful story about a family who gathered in Melbubble for a wedding in March, and then stayed put!

02.01.2022 Many folks are happy to see the back of 2020, but I really did have a great year. I saw more of Victoria than I thought I would, I renewed my enjoyment of making things (like carpentry, sewing, etc.) and I spent lots of time with family. This is one of my favourite images from the year: one of me walking through Cheviot Tunnel in Taungurung country... and so apt for this moment! Happy new year everyone!

02.01.2022 Just in time before Lockdown II, these two lovely ladies tied the knot! And Seppelt Wines were amazing hosts! Congratulations tot the brides ... #wedding #elopement #SeppeltGreatWestern #Seppelt #secondlockdown #goodnews #Victoria #GreatWestern #Grampians @ Seppelt Great Western
