22.01.2022 I've spent the last couple of days deep diving into my hard drives as I piece together a (very) basic website (link in bio, go easy on me , my skills definitel...y do not extend to tech!) I came across this wedding from 2019. It was my first, and thanks in part to Covid, my only so far. I remember losing so much sleep in the lead up, worrying about, well everything really. There is a lot of pressure to do a great job, and rightly so. It's a once in a lifetime moment! But on the day, we had so much fun. It felt an honour to a part of it, to capture it, and to tell Kerrianne and Andrews story. They made the magic, I was lucky enough to be there. I wasn't sure if I would take on any more weddings after the cancellations and changing of plans from 2020, it felt too much, too hard and stressful. But heading into 2021, it feels like maybe we are all starting to be a bit more flexible, our priorities are changing, and the importance of these special moments are stronger than ever. And so, now I find myself opening up bookings for weddings, but only limited availabilities. 20.01.2022 ~ Mr & Mrs Kennedy~ Still in awe of yesterday's stunning wedding. Ethan & Tiana's plans for their big day changed so many times. I often say to my couples, tha...t we make a plan "A"...but by the time the day comes around we are usually up to plan "E" or "F"..... with the Kennedy wedding we were almost out of alphabet letters from postponing, the venue changes, to vendor being unavailable.... Covid sent so many plans into shambles.... but finally, yesterday, at the Palmetum gardens in Townsville...everything fell into place perfectly and this amazing couple were married.
