25.01.2022 I’ve got the coordination of a baby deer and I’ve never been too great at sports. I’ve aided in countless plants meeting their demise, I couldn’t change a car tyre to save myself and I get the shits when the stitch on my attempts at sewing compares to my daughters scribbles. 23.01.2022 11.9.2020 Not too many people in this world can say they found the one that their soul loves at the ripe age of 16, but Bree and Lukes story begins far earlier than most. Meeting so young, there was no defining moment that they just knew.... They grew up together, their rare and true bond strengthening with each day, so falling in love was something that grew steadily over the years, rather than pinpointing it to a singular moment. Though Bree can recall the moment she predicted that shed probally end up marrying him someday. Turns out she was right. She was in year 9 at school and became curious of the barefoot, singing larakin that would waltz around the school grounds in his own world, oblivious to the fact that he was putting on a choral rendition for all of those around to listen to. Any accusation that Bree was an acre chaser can certainly be laid to rest, because Luke (bless him), looked near on homeless, with shoes more often than not being excluded from his daily attire. They became Husband and Wife on Friday, in a private ceremony that could have been sponsored by Kleenex. Luke will absolutely deny this but I was certain he was about to pass out when he saw his stunning wife walk towards him (I know a guy that got it all on film - suckahhh). Their family felt like a warm hug and I feel so fortunate that I got to be included in their celebrations. 22.01.2022 10.10.20 ‘Can I get you another wine’ Jazmin thinks Jamie might have anxiously used that line about 40 times on they night they met. It was April 12th. ... They had shared a few conversations over Facebook messenger, though the screen between them, always allowed Jamie to be a little more confident and forward. They were at a BBQ, finally meeting for the first time, and now was his time to shine. He didn’t have to try hard; she was already completely won over by his piercing eyes and old school gentlemanly attentiveness. She could tell he really listened to her and she liked that about him. Still, she wasn’t going to give him any reason to think he had it in the bag. He could already see himself spending forever with her, and needed to put in the ground work to develop their already bursting chemistry. ‘A ha! A local tour’, he thought, so Jamie, a self-proclaimed true bushy, decided it would be smart to utilise his skills; and take Jazmin for a drive to the Junction. He’d show her around, her very own personal guide, because after all, he IS a bushy and he DOES know these streets like the back of his hand. It would be ultra-romantic and she’d be so impressed. Only...... he ended up lost. For hours. And rather than leaving Jazmin amazed by his geography skills and local insider knowledge, it left her in stitches as he tried to determine their position and navigate their way back home. 17.01.2022 8.8.2020 One of the first things Caz noticed, those 12 years ago when she met Jess, was that she instantly felt as though she was wrapped in blanket of warmt...h, cocooned by Jess bubbly character and her ability to make Caz feel completely at ease. She was honest, inviting, engaging and smelt. SO. damn. good. The thing that did it for Jess? Aside from how breathtakingly stunning she thought Caz was, the fact that she said L O L instead of lol, and her charming smile and goofy laugh? It was the aviators, bandana and lady vest. In the words of Jess Damnnn. (I asked them a number of questions relating further to the flurry of excitement that came with meeting for the first time and the first date, but the most I could gather was that there was a movie date, but theyre not entirely sure what movie they watched. Now, I dont want to imply that they might have been a little distracted with all of the good smells and lady vests, Im sure that it was really just not a memorable movie). They hit it off, connecting instantly and the conversation flowed effortlessly all night. A salmon pizza was shared as they watched a broncos game. I so often say that he’s the man I get to grow old with, but he’s actually the man that I get to stay young with. They were a unique blue colour that unbeknownst to him at the time, would later remind him of the crystal-clear caves filled with water in the middle of the Mexican jungle, that they’d one day swim in together. When the sun hits them, they create a palette of different blues, as if you’re looking into a kaleidoscope, so for the rest of their lives, every time he looked into her eyes, they ...would serve as a reminder of their adventures together. She had already noticed him in class. He had the loudest laugh, and a smile that made everyone feel as though they’d known him for years. He was quick witted, and animated, and though she was occasionally a little introverted, he made her feel radiating confidence. They were on Heron Island, on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, doing their undergraduate degree in Marine Science majoring in marine biology, and as if their love story was preordained, Anna and Julian both certified scuba divers were paired to spend their time getting to know the reef (and is it turns out each other). Spending your day doing multiple dives, watching hatching turtles erupt from beneath your feet on the beach, swimming with sharks and schools of fish and stingrays, and seeing the spectacular starry night sky above you as you swam with the person you were developing a connection with, certainly doesn’t sound like a bad way to do it. Julian found himself taking in Anna’s rare and completely natural beauty. After a day of diving when most people would look a wreck, dealing with depth, sinuses, and mask squeeze, Anna looked stunning and in her element. She looked even more herself. Was that possible he wondered? The saltwater in her hair, sun reflecting off her, and a big smile on her face He was elated to have shared such magical moments with such an incredible woman. He went home to tell Benji that he was going to marry her one day. This beautiful couple have become beautiful friends and I’m pretty excited to reminisce over that day, with a wine and pizza and projector screen movie night when they return from their honey moon on Heron.

Your teammate. The human you chose to do forever with. ... Theyre going to be there. For all of it. Ahead of you both are anniversaries, maybe travelling, maybe kiddos. You might buy a house, or get a pooch (yes to that one). Its all unknown, but its going to be with them. Youve shared an incredible day with all of the people that love you so hard, and you end it by laying in bed next to your husband or wife, the person that loves you the hardest, realising that your reality is far better than any version of the future you had once dreamt. Ive began to get a helovalota enquiries for 2021 - even some for 2022 (), so I thought I might re introduce myself for those that are new to following my bright little celebrant life. I am Abbey. ... Originally from Brisbane, I moved to Townsville with my little fam for my husbands career in the Queensland Government Rescue Helicopter. Hes the adrenaline junkie that goes down the wire to pick people up, so I fondly refer to him as a teabag . We met at 16 years old (14 years ago!), he was my first ever boyfriend. We have a 5 year old dude named Hudson (though he currently prefers it if you call him DJ too cool for school) and a 1 year old little lady, Lottie. Shes got beautiful ginger hair and is the cheekiest person Ive ever encountered. They are seriously my best buddies. My favourite colour is yellow I spent the last 12 years of my life as a dental nurse. I thoroughly enjoyed my job. I detest birds and have a genuine fear of needles. I faint every time I need an injection, or to have blood taken. I love cooking and baking! If Im not writing wedding scripts, Im probably on Pinterest searching for new recipes to experiment with. When Hudson was a baby I began making Halloween costumes for us, just as something to do. Now its a thing, and he gets so excited to choose our characters every year. Mortified, Delia and her salad wrap wanted to retreat in horror. ... She was meeting Fana’s family - a huge meat eating Tongan ménage for the first time.
