21.01.2022 Do you write down your thoughts? Writing can be a hugely cathartic exercise and can help with the grieving process. It's worth taking a few minutes each day to note down your thoughts, keeping a journal, or even writing a letter to your loved one https://buff.ly/2FNdsGn

14.01.2022 Our tendency as humans is to be hard on ourselves when we are in mourning. We often judge ourselves and we shame ourselves and we take care of ourselves last. B...ut good self-care is essential. To practice good self-care doesnt mean you are self-pitying, or self-indulgent. Rather, it means you are creating conditions that allow you to integrate the death of someone loved into your heart and soul. Remember, your grief journey is likely long and challenging and will leave you profoundly affected and deeply changed. Looking after yourself throughout is so important and can help you to mourn in ways that help you begin to heal

13.01.2022 What is a celebration of life? A celebration of life is an alternative way of saying goodbye to a loved one. This type of funeral can be religious or non-reli...gious and tends to focus on the life that someone lived, their legacy and happy memories. But that doesnt mean theyre not also an occasion for tears of sadness that someones gone. During these difficult times where a traditional funeral service may not have been possible, planning a celebration of life to take place at a future date when family and friends can gather once again, could be a wonderful way to say a meaningful farewell. A celebration of life might feel quite different to a traditional funeral. For example, guests could be invited to wear brightly coloured clothes or even dress to a particular theme. It will usually incorporate many of the things that the person loved, and singing, dancing, and sharing stories are often a big part of the day. Would you consider a celebration of life as an alternative to a more traditional funeral ceremony? How would you like your guests to celebrate you? Were thinking, beach BBQ!

09.01.2022 We all know it’s important to make sure you take good care of your body, mind, and soul, and not just when you are grieving. But how many of us actually do so?!... Practicing self-care isn’t always easy. We're mostly busy, have stressful jobs, or are too consumed with technology to make time for ourselves. Me-time is usually last on the agenda. Sometimes we can even feel guilty about taking the time required to take care of ourselves. So getting started with self-care can be challenging. As a species, we're pretty good at looking after each other, but not always so good at looking after ourselves! Here's a reminder of some of the things we know we ought to be doing, could you fit one or two into your week? Eat right. Load up on all that good stuff - leafy grains, fresh fruit, lots of water. But leave room for some treats too Sometimes you just need a hot cup of coffee and a big slice of cake! Fresh air. Spending time outside can help you reduce stress, lower your blood pressure, and be more mindful. What's not to love? Get to bed. Sleep can have a huge effect on how you feel both emotionally and physically. If you can grab some extra zzz's by heading to bed a little earlier each night you're sure to feel the benefit. Are there any self-care tips you would add?
09.01.2022 Did you know? The most commonly requested funeral flowers are lilies - these are said to represent the restored innocence of the soul of the departed. Roses, carnations, and chrysanthemums are also popular additions to sprays, wreaths, and bouquets. What would be your flower of choice?

06.01.2022 Benefits of eloping: Youre investing in the things that will make your soul truly happy One of the most beautiful things about an elopement, whether it b...e with friends or just the two of you, is that it is an experience without a lot of "stuff". By letting go of those extra things that come with a big, more traditional wedding - you have the opportunity to invest in something truly amazing. That might be an extended stay at one of our magnificent accommodation options or flying your best friends out to be with you. These kind of experiences still cost you a fraction of a big wedding but give you so much joy as a couple. Experiences over stuff - always . Good for the planet, good for the bank account and good for your soul. via #teamless member Wilderness Weddings Tasmania . #elopetotasmania #tasmanianelopement #wildtasmania #wildernesswedding #soulspace #tasmania #elopement #letselope #rewild #hikingwedding #hikingtasmania #elopementinspiration #lessstuffmoreadventure #lessstuffmorelife #lessstuffmoremeaning #mindfullywed #treadlightly See more

01.01.2022 ~Small gestures... so precious because they are small. They dont shout, make a scene or demand attention. They simply give the knowledge that you are loved.~ ...Unbeknown to the gorgeous couple, Gerards sister had organized for all their family and friends to send in messages and wishes for their wedding day, had them all printed and attached to church pews. After the ceremony Julie & Gerard took a few quiet moments to read them, while all their dear ones watched on from afar. such precious moments. Not a dry eye in the house!! See more
