24.01.2022 In my element. In the moment, celebrating love with two fabulous people. In the cappella at one of my favorite local venues, In the Yarra Valley. In my hood.... Yes, it’s been one crazy, upside down, inside out, kind of year. As restrictions are slowly lifting in Victoria I’m looking forward to celebrating with many more love birds. Unsure how to begin planning your wedding? Do you have questions? I’m here to help you with any advice, support and direction. The Yarra Valley is my backyard and I’ve been celebranting for 15 years so there isn’t a question I haven’t been asked or an area of the YV I don’t know. Get in touch to chat about your 2021 wedding @ashleighhaasephotography #2021wedding #weddingsyarravalley
23.01.2022 Keep looking up... There’s no doubt us Melburnians are dong it super tough right now. I don’t think anyone hasn’t been affected in some way, and for some, in many ways. The little things are the big things. Get some sunshine (avec mask), play some music, make a cup of tea or that batch of soup, ring a friend. by @poojness ... #stayathome See more

Loved these two And loved working with the oh so fabulous Sharne @ariaphotographyaus and Glen (with 1 n) @director...sedge #elopeyv #celebrantmaree See more

21.01.2022 Happy 1 year and 1 week anniversary to this gorgeous duo J & D Thank-you for your kind words... Maree is a kind, bubbly and enthusiastic celebrant! She brought our day together beautifully, with a big smile on her face. She was amazing help in organizing the delivery of our marriage certificate, so it was all a breeze with her as our celebrant. Thanks Maree! @sigridpetersonphotography... #celebrantinringwood #weddingcelebrant See more
21.01.2022 Over the 16 years celebrating love I have witnessed many a funny/weird/quirky scenario. You never know what might happen, but that’s all part of the fun! Note: The best man did not sustain any injuries aside from a rather large bruise to his forehead! #photoshopcameinhandy
18.01.2022 FUR BABIES - You know one of the best things about having your beloved pets at your wedding? They don’t count in the number restrictions!! Now that’s something we wouldn’t have thought of a year ago!! You might be spending some time right now re-imagining, re-prioritizing and reviewing your wedding plans. There are no certainties, but know that however your ceremony may be - intimate, small, remote, Skype-centric, or pared back in some way, you have a magnificent life ahead of you together, what’s better than that? #weddingplans #planningaweddinginmelbourne
16.01.2022 Sending a special Friday afternoon shout out to all my fab followers, particularly to those who have just jumped on, welcome! I’ve been celebrating love as a marriage celebrant for 16 years. So how did I begin? I think everyone goes through a stage in their life where it feels like they’re going to a wedding nearly every 2nd week, which is a totally awesome place to be. After attending loads of weddings and witnessing an array of celebrants along the way, I declared very loud...ly (after a number of ) that I am going to be a celebrant! I had no idea how to become one or what it entailed. So, the next day, with a decent hangover, I did all the research and promptly enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Civil Ceremonies at Monash Uni. So I studied part time, worked in my sales job full time, and had my first baby in the 2nd year of my course. It was a whirl wind ride. Back then the government imposed a cap on the number of celebrants registered, so I had to wait about 18 months before I could officially celebrate weddings without a registered celebrant to do the legal parts. It’s been amazing and encouraging to see the positive change in the way ceremonies are celebrated and the greater emphasis of how a fabulous celebrant can kick off a super positive vibe, that’s what you want! Over the years, I’m so grateful to have met some truly inspiring industry individuals and couples. I learn something from each and every one of them, everyone has a story to tell, I’ve laughed my head off and bawled my eyes out, and because of all these experiences and fabulous humans, I love being a celebrant. Before I started, I knew it was going to be a good job, but it completely exceeded, and continues to exceed, all my expectations. #celebrantmaree #lockdown2020 #valleyloveschallenge

08.01.2022 Signed, Sealed, you’re married! One of my responsibilities is to ensure all the legal components of your ceremony are sorted. This includes the paperwork, I look after all this for you. ... The signing can be done just prior to walking back down the aisle before the end of your ceremony in front of your guests, or after your ceremony, if you want it to be more low key. All you need to sit down, or stand up, have a drink of something deliciously refreshing, and relax as I tell you and your witnesses where to sign. 3 docs to sign 2 witnesses aged 18 or over sign your maiden name I’ll pop your marriage certificate in a safe place for you (pass it to your mum, responsible friend, or your wedding venue coordinator) Sorted. #weddingpaperwork #weddinglegalstuff

My mantra is to work with every couple to ensure who you are, and the love you share, is reflected throughout your ceremony. 02.01.2022 L&D were destined to find one another. They first met at the salubrious Boomerang Backpackers Hostel in Sydney where they decided that travelling together from then on, was a splendid idea. Fast forward to their epic wedding with all their friends and families who had travelled from all corners of the globe to celebrate with this awesome couple (Pre covid-19 era). Damien promised to not mock Liams obsession with spreadsheets and Liam promised to try really hard to maintain Damiens high standard of home cleanliness. They both made a eternal promises to always love, protect and be each other’s greatest fans. Awwww, without doubt these two have a super exciting future together, what an honor it was to share in their brilliant celebration. by @lovestreet.weddings
