20.01.2022 My wedding photo in 1977

19.01.2022 Just saw on News that mourners in Spain reduced to 2. I think in months to come we may need to consider memorial services. This is something that we have done in our family. A private family funeral service followed by a public memorial service. ... My husband passed away in 2008 whilst we were on a Rhine River cruise. He was cremated in a tiny German town, Braubach. We had a memorial service on my return to Perth. In the following year we had more loss of loved ones and we decided we liked this model. Something to consider.

18.01.2022 In 1977 my husband proposed to me at Perth Airport. In those days you collected your baggage from a little tractor and trailer at entrance to airport. Ha haa he collected more than baggage that day Have you got a story to tell? Please feel free to share!

09.01.2022 Over the years weddings had been getting bigger and bigger. In the current pandemic climate smaller may become more popular. My garden is available for small intimate gatherings, checkout my Celebrant Website at www.janicequirk.com.au I have just pruned back the Rose Garden and it is always so difficult to believe that in a few short months it will be so beautiful, delicately fragranced and colourful.

08.01.2022 We are certainly living in unusual times and our way of dealing with our life’s special moments is changing. I would like to share a line from a TV series that took my fancy this past week. Our wedding doesn’t have to be perfect as we are perfect together. ... Over the years Couples in love have married in difficult times. The photo is my parents wedding. No fancy dresses but held in St Georges Cathedral in Perth.
