17.01.2022 Love Love, puts the music in laughter, the beauty in song,... the warmth in a shoulder, the gentle in strong. Love, puts the magic in memories, the sunshine in skies, the gladness in giving, the starlight in eyes. Love, puts the fun in together, the sad in apart, the hope in tomorrow, the joy in the heart. 13.01.2022 The Art of Marriage A good relationship must be created. In the art of togetherness the little things are the big things . It is never being too old to hold hands.... It is remembering to say I love you at least once each day. It is never going to sleep angry. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is standing together facing the world. It is at no time taking the other for granted. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is not being afraid to be honest. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding and a sense of humour. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is not looking for perfection, but accepting the imperfection. It is not only finding the right partner, it is being the right partner.

10.01.2022 The women's wedding circle provides a unique opportunity to bring together the women of your community in a warm hearted and joyful way. An alternative to the "hen's night" the women's wedding circle invites you to create and build connections with the women from your family, your fiance's family and close girlfriends in an authentic and meaningful way providing nourishment and support in the lead up to your wedding and beyond.
10.01.2022 As wedding ceremonies become more meaningful and personalized, various rituals are becoming more popular for couples who want their guests to feel included in their ceremony. A favourite is the ring warming ceremony. In this ritual an invitation is extended to each guest to hold the wedding rings, say a silent prayer/blessing/wish for your marriage, and then pass it to the next guest. This intimate exchange injects all of the loving energy of your friends and family into the rings that you'll be wearing for a lifetime.
09.01.2022 Here's an extract from the book - Captain Correlli's Mandolin, which some couples chose to have read at their wedding ceremony. Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. ... Because that is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the declaration of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day. This is just being in-love, which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in-love has burned away, and this is both an art form and a fortunate accident. Love is having roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom has fallen from the branches, you find that you are one tree and not two.
08.01.2022 Using stones is one way of catpuring good wishes messages from your family and friends at your ceremony and provides a meaningful and decorative memento.

06.01.2022 Many ceremonies in Australia today include an "Acknowledgement of Country" - this is where an acknowledgement is given to the traditional owners of the land as a symbol of respect. Completely optional, this is something you may/may not wish to include in your ceremony.

01.01.2022 During your wedding ceremony you may like to honor your parents in some way - presenting them with a flower, inviting them to read a blessing or poem, sign the register, light a candle or by inviting both of them to walk down the aisle with you.
