25.01.2022 The reason we went with the name "Celebration Boudoir" is we wanted to get away from suggesting our bodies, our sexuality and our beauty was in any way lewd or tawdry. We wanted to celebrate love and life and promote love and acceptance of the skin we are in. So let's celebrate the lovely Kristi, who also wanted to celebrate life in a very real way in this photo shoot. Hi Kristi!... Kristi had and still has several real and traumatic illnesses. It was touch and go until the last minute whether our shoot could go ahead. If you look closely you can see the feeding tube into her nose, but we did a good job of hiding the other tubing, and the diabetic pump and other medical equipment. Kristi's life was under real threat. In some of her shots the tubing is edited out, but in many it was included because that was what reality looked like. Saddest of all Kristi had requested for us to create an angel pose like this one in case things went badly so her children would have this image as a comfort. Let's just pause and let that one sink in. So here is to the lovely Kristi and her reminder that we should all squeeze the juice out of every day we are given. Do the daring things. Own your body and use it to enjoy your life. Dance and sing and love and laugh. P.S. Years ago Kristi and her partner had a newborn that was seriously ill, and also fed through a tube like this, and we had an urgent family photo shoot with him, thinking those images might be a treasured record of a short life. So it was an extra special bonus to a lovely photo shoot when that child walked into to pick up mum at the end of the shoot, looking fine and strong and happy. Stay safe everyone. We met Ash in Canberra, before isolation, and were stunned by her beauty and wowed by her personality. Fascinating and funny, Ash is the walking definition of a goddess.... We love getting to know our people, and it is a privilege to hear the stories from the lives of our clients. It is very important to us to get a sense of who you are. We don't have a set of poses and shots we must always do. It is much more satisfying to us to learn what you are into, what you like, what styles you prefer and who you are as a person. So with Ash we learned about the public face, the go getter, the impression maker, but we also learned about the quiet Ash, the demure one, the thinker with the great heart. We met Cassandra, who thoroughly deserves to be covered in pearls, in the Southern Highlands.... We are a bit limited in what can be displayed in these galleries. They are public, so Facebook and Instagram have rules about what can be shown. Fair enough, but it is difficult to get our boudoir people excited about a photo shoot if they cannot see the products a shoot can produce. When you enquire about a photo shoot we begin to gather as much information from you as possible about what you want. We will send you a long list of possible themes, styles and looks, from cute pinups to raunchy goddess, and you get to choose as many styles as you like. We also ask you to search online in boudoir and erotic photography galleries to copy and paste to us any styles or poses or looks you love. This has become the best way to see the shoot through your eyes and then give you exactly what you want. This is why our gallery is so eclectic in looks, styles and colours. I try and adapt every shoot to what you have requested. It is a much more interesting way to be creative. I have seen some studios that do the exact same shoot, shot for shot, outfit for outfit, same lighting, same props every single time. I would go crazy doing that. If you looked at each image for 1 second and never slept it would take you nearly 5 years to scroll through 40 billion images. ... So it is safe to say you will never see them all. Nearly 100 million images and videos are added to Instagram each day. This is a special number otherwise known as a fuckload. 05.01.2022 Hello All You Luscious Goddesses! Oh, how we have missed you! Would you like to be in a photo shoot?... COVID19 permitting we are cautiously stepping out of isolation, blinking into the sunlight, packing the cameras into our swags and heading out to our first new photo shoots, in NSW and the ACT at least. One clear result of all this isolation for me has been the strong feeling that life is precious, short and pretty lonely and dull unless we choose to grab opportunities, squeeze the juice out of our days and celebrate life and love and sex and beauty every chance we get. I hope you have arrived at a similar conclusion and you have decided you really want to star in a photo shoot with us. We always have had big plans, and now we can get back to them. We are planning to return to the shoots we had scheduled in Canberra, Tumut, the Blue Mountains, Rockhampton, Byron Bay and out west to Griffith and Broken Hill as soon as we can. 03.01.2022 Let's Celebrate Leanne! Hi Leanne! We met this goddess in Canberra on a big day of connections. It was the first time in this location. Belinda had to travel in. Belinda and Leanne got on like they had been sisters forever. Bonnie was there, too, doing the makeup. Bonnie and Bindy are now old friends. So much came out of this shoot. ... Leanne is a perfect example of the beautiful process our clients go through. We were aware of Leanne arriving, but noticed she didn't get out of her car. Bindy went out to greet Leanne and found her running through the "What the hell am I doings?!" in the driver's seat. Cut to no time later and Leanne is giving us the biggest most beautiful laughs, the most stunning poses, the happiest of expressions and is wowing us and herself with her eagerness, openness, confidence and beauty.
