It's when you have an emotional breakdown and your love lays down with you and holds you, and tells you everything is going to be okay. And you believe them. It's about still loving someone even though sometimes, or many times, they make you absolutely insane. Loving someone isn't always easy, it's VERY hard. 08.01.2022 Cousin Cate, was the alias our wedding celebrant Cate Brockbank went by at our surprise wedding. A surprise for our 200 guests that is, who thought they were turning up to our farewell party. With only 3 and a bit weeks of preparation time, Cate was absolutely amazing at how she not only helped us with our vows and the ceremony itself, but other details of our wedding that we may have overlooked. She was very supportive of anything we wanted to do, offered great suggestions, ...and was genuinely excited for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and Cate would often contact me to say she had come across something that could be useful for the kids tables, or for our floral arrangement while she was out and about. She has contacts to hire companies and florists and was always conscious of our budget and requests. We quickly employed Cate as our wedding organiser also, the person on the ground instructing our other suppliers what to do and where to set up which ensured our preparation and event bump in went smoothly. This also meant I could relax and just enjoy getting ready myself. Cate and her assistant Richard worked throughout our entire event, and even stayed to take down the decorations they had organised for us at the end of the evening, so that there was one less trip for us to return things the next day. Thank you Cate, for helping to make our day memorable, stress-free and most of all good fun.
