19.01.2022 We, a heap of friends, had a wow whale of a time in Hervey Bay this week. Highlight was out with the whales on Tuesday, blessed with plenty of action with mother and calves. Not many bulls around so no swimming this time but we had an amazing time out there anyway! So special!!

09.01.2022 Seasons' Greetings and lots of best wishes for Christmas tomorrow! A lot has happened since I last wrote a post. Helped Kathryn and Scott with their renovations and the kitchen looks great! Drove south through rain and flooded lands. Haven't seen that much water for a long long time. Rivers swollen, paddocks swamped, sugar cane and trees standing in water! North of Sydney found out I couldn't see my parents, due to an outbreak in the Northern beaches of Sydney, absolutel...y devastated, shocked and upset. Have spoken to them on the phone and video link but it's not the same as actually seeing them. So I am now travelling/driving a wide berth of Sydney, mid west seeing places I haven't seen in years. Till I am able to cross the border into Victoria and go to Melbourne to board the ferry across to Tasmania. Could have done this on Monday night but I was in Cessnock to far away to make it in 4-5 hrs by myself. Anyway I will work it all out after Christmas and before the new year, Basically if I am meant to go to Tassie, great! If not I will see some more of NSW till the Qld border is opened. I am just soooo blessed to have this van, so grateful. It has been great. Finally stopped raining Tuesday morning, finally able to see where I am driving. Ended up on the Ulan road between Merriwa and Gulgong at the Goulburn River N.P. a rest area called 'the Drip'. Beautiful spot right in the bushland. It was great to be back in the bush again. Did a lovely walk along the Goulburn River along and under some amazing sandstone rock formations curled and worn away by erosion and had water dripping off them, thus 'the Drip', very impressive. Now I am between Blayney and Cowra in pastoral country. I'm sure that will do, please all have a great Christmas spent with friends and family, take care and keep in touch. 03.01.2022 Yes it's that time of the year again! Seasons' Greetings to you all, friends, family, students acquaintances, everyone!! 2020! The year that WAS! What... a challenging year it was for everyone! Everyone was affected by .......... in some way or other. I had a fantastic start to the year with that absolutely amazing awesome trip to Antarctica! So glad I did it, no overseas travel allowed this year. Between April and June I did manage to catch up with friends which was great. Began working and training people in June, keeping busy and well occupied with students in different locations. Much driving and travelling, the van is a godsend. I have had the van a year now! Small groups but many classes. Three students completed their studies receiving their diplomas this year! Such a great feeling! No classes during Dec/Jan will commence again in February. Now in Brisbane with Kathryn and Scott helping them with their renovations. Drive to Sydney to spend some time with my parents over Christmas. Then in January I drive to Victoria to board the ferry to Tasmania, catch up, see and visit Kev, Kath and Jack and Arvy & June again for a while.
