21.01.2022 With the Federal Government advising against non-essential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people, we will be postponing the Cellar Door market until directed otherwise. We encourage the Cellar Door community to continue to support local and buy direct from your favourite suppliers. You can visit Choku Bai Jo in Curtin and North Lyneham for fresh and local produce and Tobellie Hill Produce are working on farm-direct produce boxes. Originbake will be providing home delivery... services in addition to their Phillip bakery. Most Canberra Wines and spirits that you enjoy and love can be purchased online with next day delivery, direct from their cellar door, or sit down for a vino at a local bar or restaurant. You can support artists and creatives participating in the virtual Handmade Canberra Market this weekend or visit our previous posts for information on any stall who have attended the Cellar Door market. A huge thank you to all of our stallholders and customers, and we look forward to the marketing returning bigger and better in the not too distant future.

09.01.2022 A statement from Art, Not Apart "Art, Not Apart is going ahead this weekend If ScoMo is still going to the footy this weekend, then we are definitely still going to celebrate the arts.... This afternoon after a COAG meeting, the Prime Minister advised that non-essential events with more than 500 people should be cancelled from Monday onwards, as a precautionary measure to combat the spread of COVID-19. It was clear from the press conference that it remains a low-risk activity to attend public events, and healthy event-goers are encouraged to stick to their plans this weekend. And so, we are thrilled to go ahead with the 10th anniversary program this weekend. There will be extra signage placed around the festival site regarding hygiene practices as recommended by ACT Health. Festival attendees are also reminded to be safe, stay informed, and be kind to each other in these turbulent times. As an extra bit of good news, the Bureau of Meteorology has informed us that despite the overall forecast for Canberra on Saturday, the chance of rain remains low across Acton on Saturday afternoon and evening."
