21.01.2022 Greg and I had more 2020 bookings than ever before - now cancelled or postponed :( This photo is from pre-isolation times: Blackheath gig in February with Roger on percussion. Not sure that boredom's a great motivator! Still here's a recording I put together yesterday and today of You ('n' I) AIn't Going Nowhere - again, apologies to Bob Dylan and thanks to words contributed by friends through FB.... Stay safe
19.01.2022 A version of"Dark as a Dungeon" original by Merle Travis (1951). A favourite from my days as 'token male' with Banshee Band (Newcastle) circa 20 years ago - then sung by Gayle D

10.01.2022 The months continue to roll by and it's great that life is progressing to a "new normal" even for hibernated Victorians. Greg and I have variously been enjoying some music sessions. Weather permitting, we'll busk in Newcastle streets over coming weeks. We're now practising brackets for the Nymboida Bushfire Anniversary community event on Saturday 7 November with Mark and Dane (Sunburnt Celts) joining us for some tunes and songs. Plan is also for a couple of house parties starting at Angourie on the Sunday. On the weekend of 28-29 November we'll return to the historic Settlers Arms Inn, St Albans (on the Hawkesbury) with Roger and Blackie. Our lunchtime performances (12 - 3pm 'ish) warming the porch for muso friends in the Jammin' Campers fraternity.
