24.01.2022 **What a wonderful reminder to see - a year ago today** Caber attaining his Supreme Title over one weekend! At the Advance Pacific International 1st "FCI" Show in QLD, awarded an Excellent and 1st CACIB, then onto BIG 1st under International Judge Dr Wjatcheslaw Werbitzki (Belarus). ... Caber was then awarded another BIG 1st under Judge MS Donne Lucas (Sth Africa), and lead the API Scoreboard for most consistent winner in Group 5. Overall just a fantastic memory shared with friends and the API Show would definitely be one major Show I will miss this year, as the Advance Team and volunteers always do a great job!

24.01.2022 Another great image taken by Ingrid Matschke of "Caber" in the mist! Think another canvas for the wall love it and the atmosphere this creates!

23.01.2022 This video brought back some awesome memories from Elite Falconry in Fife Scotland a few years ago now, just around the corner from where my dad grew up. Marty and I spent a day with various types of Hawks, Owls and the magnificent Golden Eagle who was breathtaking.....with my Aunty Beth Farmer

20.01.2022 Another early morning start with Caber, but what a beautiful day with John Borg Snr. How far John has come getting his new business running "Sheep Herding for C...ity Dogs" from when we met 8 years ago. So proud of all that John has achieved, the friendship, the mentoring & laughs we have shared. Looking forward to sharing many more adventures in the future. Now back to clearing those fallen trees in the top paddock blocking the course.....lol Also managed to get Marty out, who loathes FB pics.....lol See more

19.01.2022 Happy 1st Birthday Boudy & Robbie The last couple of months have been very busy, so much so that I forgot these babies turned 1 a few weeks ago. This advert was to be published before the Sydney Royal, but that didnt eventuate due to COVID-19 (pups pic at 6 months). So thought no better way to celebrate pups birthdays than next too their Sire and Dam. I only wanted a girl from this litter and when I viewed Boudiccas structure I knew she was a keeper and has lived up ...to expectation thus far, Robbie was a bonus but a little more maturing to go. Thanks to the breeders of Caber - Sharon Hannigan, and Holly - Kelly & Jill Lambourne and Wendy Atkins for giving me a great start again in the Dog World. Thanks Elizabeth Sommerville for always helping with handling the crew over the past 12 months, now time for a well earned rest....phewww I know I need it and enjoying the break!

19.01.2022 WOW........what a SUPREME weekend!!! :) Caber awarded another BIG 1st under International Judge MS Donne Lucas (Sth Africa) which completes Cabers Title and can... be known unofficially as ***** SUPREME CH NEECABE ON DEMAND (PT) ***** Caber also lead the API Scoreboard for most consistent winner in Group 5 and competed in a Final Run Off against other highest scoring Group Winners, and came away with another beautiful Rosette & Cash. After 5 Shows in 3 Days with 3 babies its been a huge weekend, but the most fun Ive had at a show for a long time and even better when shared with some awesome company Elizabeth, Tracey, Tanya, Leslie, Cecilie and other fellow exhibitors who bring a good laugh to the weekend and congratulated our wins (you know who you are) thankyou! This is our 2nd year competing at the Advance Pacific International and coming away with success, so the committee and volunteers must be doing something right as its a great Event! Thank you DQ and ADVANCE!! Official photos to come

18.01.2022 Cant believe its been a year already, since these kids joined the family. Boudy the sweetest nature ive known

18.01.2022 Early morning workout, with a beautiful backdrop of Glasshouse Mountains. Here I am training Caber to work with a calm authority, keeping a good distance between himself and sheep, particularly with fast sheep and penning.....with John Borg Snr

16.01.2022 Caber awarded 3 BOBs this weekend and shortlisted for Group twice under Judges Mr S Meredith & Mrs Diane ONeill (NZ) from a large line up of quality exhibits. The babies ventured out and pleased with the how the boys handled their first outing, they stacked and trotted well Day 1 - Ti 1st - Robbie 2nd, although Day 2 - Ti decided it was more fun to chase the puppy in front.lol, so the Brothers swapped placings, by Day 3 Ti was better but still had a mind of his ownso br...other Robbie took over and placed 1stall a lot of fun having puppies in the ring again Miss Boudicca went well on the stack and trotting but just a wee bit scared of new people, but she improved over the weekend and Elizabeth Sommerville had her free stacking like she had been in the ring for weeks! Special thanks again to you Elizabeth for all your help handling the puppies and the company, such a busy weekend we forgot to take photos next show

15.01.2022 Im so happy to say that Caber and I achieved our goals that we set early in 2019, and looking forward to our next future goals and achievements! Big thanks to all the people who have supported our journey from the start, captured some beautiful images and have always shown professionalism and great sportsmanship - too many to Tag, but you all know who you are and it is appreciated See Cabers latest ads on www.k9online.com.au

14.01.2022 An outing today (without dogs) and applying make-up for the first time today in months feels like a distant memory....lol! But looking forward to day out in different surroundings :)

12.01.2022 NSW Southern District Country Border Collie Show 15/9/19. CRITIQUES Judge Kay Sneath. SUP CH NEECABE ON DEMAND PT... "Superbly presented dog, shown in great coat, of excellent breed type who stood alone in this class. Correct size and smooth outline with well sprung ribs that carry well back, and a moderately broad chest. He has great carriage maintaining his strong topline on the move, with correct set and carriage of tail finished with the desirable upward swirl. A balanced head with a mild but keen expression and well set and carried ears. Lovely low hocks and oval feet. Pleased to award him Res DCC & Best Open In Show". CELTIC HEART BOUDICCA "A very promising youngster she won on her overall balance and graceful outline. She has correct parallel planes and well set ears. Lovely flow of neck into shoulders. My BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW WINNER, I was interested to note she was sired by my Res CC Dog". PS. Boudiccas Dam is CH Kerensa Its a Wild World (AI) (HT), pictured below who has been on a long maternity break.

11.01.2022 Love it when the Roos and their babies greet you around feed time

09.01.2022 In February the 4WD & Dog Trailer were sold to make way for the new BCs On The Move Mobile The Ford Transit Custom LWB has been slowly renovated and accommodates 3 fixed large crates with storage below that fits full length gazebos, mats, chairs, fridges, gen, water, etc. On top a full length single bed with hospital grade mattress, so I can pull over anywhere and take a nap if needed without having to worry about leaving dogs in the trailer. Under bed is loads of storage... for grooming equip, beds, fans, towels the whole kit and caboodle. I can fix a 4th large crate on floor and take mattress off and fit another 2 large crates on top of bed (if needed), the show trolleys slide up the centre of van. The LWB can also fit a 3m x 3m awning from van without having to set up a gazebo. Just a few more enhancements to go but its nearly complete. The Ford Transit is so comfortable with a cockpit much like a normal sedan, I get 1300kms out of a tank of fuel, its not too big that I can still drive to work comfortably and park in most locations, also comes in handy for packing horse feed and grocerieslol Allround easy maintenance and so far has been a great vehicle.

09.01.2022 Probably not great timing, but thought I better post the 5th National Border Collie Show results from Mid October before the end of year is over! Proud to say having pups just out of Baby Puppy Class the day before the Nationals, went up against bigger boys/girls in Minor Puppy class and Boudicca & Robbie placed 4th out of 20 & 13 entries respectively for youngsters they never put a foot wrong and stacked with ease so really pleased with their results & received some lovely... rosettes/prizes. Caber was shortlisted in the Open Class which was a good result, considering there were many fine examples of our breed overlooked. On a positive note to have people approach me after the show saying Caber was a standout is all I needed to hear to make the journey worthwhile and very humbled by the enquiries from people since who have recognised Cabers quality Thank you to all for sharing the weekend Sharon Hannigan, Lorraine Warren - Powell, Millissa Fox, Teresa Kernahan, Pauline Camp, Kerensa Kennels, Carol Domsalla - thank you for handling Ti in Minor Puppy class, Reegan Bevan, Maryanne Fazekas, Natalie Wilson and many others over the weekend Thank you kindly to the international visitors who captured some of these images Katie Rodgers, Matthias Fahrig and locally Ffiona Jane Erskine and Natalie Wilson.

09.01.2022 Some of my most memorable images while at Elite Falconry in Fife Scotland, particularly the young Golden Eagle in training - just breathtakingly spectacular, with Martin and Aunty Beth Farmer

09.01.2022 My 6 weeks Holiday back home in Sydney with Mum didnt exactly go to plan! My poor mum had to look after the dogs and I, and only managed a few shows while struggling with a bad case of the flu! Thanks for always being there to help mum, your one of the best! Miss Boudicca has done the Team proud at the 115th Working Dog Show Sydney 7th Oct, her last shows in Baby Puppy BP class was awarded BP Bitch 1st & Best BP Breed, then onto the semi-spec CD, Kelpie, BC, GSD show aw...arded BP Sweeps 1st , BP Bitch class 1st & Best Opp Sex. All the boys performed well at both Shows & Caber was awarded another Best Headed in property. Ti continues to nail the stack, but still a tad naughty on the move, but slowly getting better! Judges were Mrs C Chase (USA) & Joan Bray respectively. Thankyou to Millissa Fox and Katie Rodgers who captured some great shots while in the ring!

07.01.2022 Thank you to the Belgian Shepherd Club of QLD for inviting me to Judge the Belgian Shepherd Open Show on Sunday. I really enjoyed the event and having access to all 4 Breed varieties in high numbers both Breed & Property classes was certainly great and invaluable experience. I appreciated the Belgian Shepherd Clubs efforts for organizing such an event and thanks to all the Exhibitors (many newbies) who entered the Show so many lovely examples of the Breed.

06.01.2022 Glad I made it down to Sydney before the COVID Hot Spots ramped up! The Ford Transit made its first big trip on 1 tank of fuel 1000 kms with circa 150 kms left in the tank (awesome), and a very comfortable ride for dogs and I. Now catching up on quality time with mum since I last visited 9 months ago .......... ISO ....LOL

05.01.2022 Thank you to Judge Robynne Spencer (VIC) for awarding Caber GR CH Neecabe On Demand PT, with a BOB last weekend who recognised Cabers conformity to our BREED Standards this showed integrity to judge and award the dog! Judges like this are the only reason I continue showing, unfortunately the percentage of Judges with a good level of competency and knowledge of the Border Collie and who can say they have integrity and judge the dog seems to be on the wane sadly. Moving on, ...we had some time off over Apr/May due to a coat drop, new litter, etc and hadnt realised how much time had passed since Ive posted results for Caber who has attained a further: BIG 1; RUBIG 2; Open Group 5; BOB 21 (Champ Shows), and BIS 1; Open Show 2, BIG 2; Open Group 3; BOB 3 (Open Shows) I would like to commend the Judges during the past couple of months who have recognised Caber for the above awards, these Judges showed integrity and an understanding of the BREED Standards for the Border Collie and they will receive another entry from me in the future as they judged the dog. To name a few Mr L Wright, Mrs A Carious, Mr G Heyden, Ms I DeCiabatti (Peru), Mrs N Renwood, Mr S Kwon (Sth Korea), Ms J McFarlane, Mrs G Morrison (Sth Africa), Mr G Whitfield (NZ), Mrs D Clark (NZ), Ms S Guilfoyle, Mr P Flynn, Mr D Mahoney, Mr Hisayoshi Kadowaki (Japan), Mr A Lim, Miss E Brown, Mrs J Ashton, Mrs L Buckley, and Mrs C Eastly. Additionally, huge thanks to Elizabeth Sommerville for all her help the past couple of months handling, walking and generally having fun with Caber while I have been busy on other duties. Although in his summer clothes back in April, I like this picture of Caber with Elizabeth displaying nice extension and drive with (NO OVER-REACHING) great job Elizabeth and Caber enjoys going on runs with you. Ive also had some great laughs and company the past few weeks with Tanya Eames, Jenny Phillips, Cecile Kemp and Nerina Rizzo running Shelties and Rough Collies which has been a lot of fun! Thank you all for entrusting me with your beautiful dogs. A few of my fav photos over this time showing a well-balanced four square free stack, and another nice head shot of Mr Caber!

04.01.2022 Pups having some fun last week watching dad practice :)

04.01.2022 Huge thanks to Irina Sammut who had the patience to interpret my design concepts for our Logo and Flyers that were presented in meticulous detail before the BC Nationals (absolutely love them), and Tracey Hallink who contributed with the production of the shirts & vests many thanks :)

04.01.2022 Robbie receiving plenty of socialisation in the Office with Marty & fast becoming the team mascot :)

02.01.2022 Its taken a while for Hollys coat to bounce back since her first litter last year and the entire Teams had a good few months break from the Show scene, but looking forward to seeing how she performs in 2020.
