24.01.2022 Its amazing how life can bring the right people into your lives. This certainly happened for Little Baby Amazon the Possum! Little Amazon was being attacked by crows but was rescued by our client Michelle. Michelle who worked for Parks and Wildlife for ten years, has the knowledge and experience to get Little Amazon through these early stages of her life.... Little Amazon will be Michelles firth baby possum that she has hand raised. And of course, Michelle brought Amazon into the clinic to have the vets check her out after her ordeal. Amazon was given pain relief and a thorough examination. Amazon then enjoyed some attention and cuddles from our staff. She is so irresistible! Michelle will keep us updated on Amazons progress!

Ours nurses work from early hours, work through lunch and also late into the nights. They are dedicated to our animals, owners and the practice. 21.01.2022 Today Rocky came in today at Middle Park for his annual vaccinations! Rocky is a Spoodle, a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle cross. Spoodles are known to be a happy, loyal, playful and social breed. sometimes referred to as the ‘social butterfly’ of dogs. It was very hard for our staff to see him leave today, he is such a loving, friendly and OTT cuddly! ... Dr. Shay and Rocky definitely hit it off!! See more

19.01.2022 Our Consult Nurse Lena brought in her beautiful dog Ben to the clinic. Ben was assisting Lena in the Puppy Pre-school class that night. 19.01.2022 Miss Seva came in last week with her 8 beautiful puppies! They received their health check and puppy vaccinations. Puppies need their three sets of vaccinations to protect them from the germ nasties like parvo, kennel cough and distemper.

18.01.2022 You never know what will happen on any given day in a veterinary practice. Monday was a day of excitement and urgency when Ms. Harley was rushed to our Middle Park Clinic / Hospital for an emergency caesarean. Harley had complications that needed the expert knowledge and skill of Dr. Mike and Dr. Shay to help deliver her six babies. Harley is a beautiful ragdoll and this is her second litter of kittens. All six were delivered safely and healthy. ... It is always a wonderful experience for our team when new babies are in our care. We will be updating Harley and the kittens progress over the next months.

18.01.2022 It was a family affair at our Forest Lake clinic this week. The Floyd Family was in to see Dr. Mike . The Floyd kittens were our caesarean kittens from a month ago. All six are thriving and growing well. Mum and dad were in for their de-sexing check ups. Mum and dad are doing well too, caring for six kiddies can be a little overwhelming for any parent!

Written by Laura Greaves an Australian journalist who also was the editor of a dog publication. 12.01.2022 Ms Seva was looking a little perplexed after learning she will be hearing the pitter patter of 36 little paws. Ms. Seva had her xray this morning to check on the health and number of pups, up to 9 puppies due in the next two weeks or so. Dr. Shay and Dr. Beth both viewed the ultrasound and the puppies are growing well and looking fine! Cant wait to see them when they come in for their first health checks!

06.01.2022 It was the Beagle Brigade at Forest Lake this week. We had Queenie and Nugget in for vaccinations and health check. Queenie is a Beaglier, which is a cross between a Beagle and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Compact, energetic, and loyal, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. The beagle is a breed of small hound that is similar in appearance to the much larger foxhound. The beagle is a scent hound, developed primarily for hunting hare.
