24.01.2022 We invite people to explore faith in God through Jesus Christ and to consider the message of Easter: that through Jesus death on the cross, and his resurrection from the tomb, we can have a personal, relationship with God which offers an unending welcome, life-giving well-being, an eternal home, and a supportive community through faith in Jesus. The theme for the final week of the Month of Prayer is Faith. http://ow.ly/3Ek950z9AEE

15.01.2022 Easter reminds us that God is with us through Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On Easter Friday, we remember Jesus was crucified and all hope was lost. On Saturday we recall the anxious wait, not knowing how things would turn out next. But on Sunday the tomb was empty and Jesus resurrection brought hope and new life for the world. This perfectly captures where we find ourselves in 2020. God was with us when we entered this crisis. He is walking with us now, through the mes...s and confusion as we anxiously wait for what will happen next, and he will still be on His throne when we emerge from this situation. Easter reminds us that God truly does bring new life and hope. We wish you all a very happy and safe Easter. https://youtu.be/aAg9d7wLMxs

14.01.2022 To mark Queensland Womens Week, many of our staff, churches and members of the community joined our Leadership Lunch to discuss the unique strengths and perspectives women of diverse backgrounds bring to leadership. The lunch featured three outstanding women who shared their leadership journey - Theresa Ruig from Vision Australia Apande Gong from Youth Housing Project and Maja Vranjkovic from Multicultural Australia. Thank you Dr Christian Rowan MP for the opening address ...and sharing stories about women who have shaped your leadership journey. Everyone has a role to play in creating a Queensland community that respects women, embraces gender equality, and promotes and protects the rights, interests and well-being of women and girls. #QWW2020"
