25.01.2022 As our world view expands thanks to travel, so does the context of our own existence. You no longer have to follow a set religion and may people break away from the spiritual institutions they grew up with and choose their own beliefs. We are learning to find a sense of connectedness within. That may mean fostering meaningful connections with their... loved ones. For others, it may mean finding God within themselves. We are no longer restricted to a particular church or building in a particular town to nurture a connection to spirituality. This also means mourning is no longer regional - as the news of someone’s passing reaches their birthplace, candles can be lit across the globe and rituals commenced.

23.01.2022 Growing up under the eyes of a caring dad can be the greatest gift anyone can cherish. Your dad is someone who can stand as a symbol of inspiration for your entire life. It is your father from whom many draw their strength from. He can be the strongest pillar in your life

23.01.2022 Death is raw and real and deeply uncomfortable to think about. When we are faced with grief, that discomfort is exchanged for grief and a sense of loss. It brings us face to face with our own mortality and it also presents us with new perspectives on the old relationship. The way we handle loss correlates with the conversations we had with our loved one prior to their passing. If you had those difficult talks, you will have more clarity on their wishes.

14.01.2022 Mother's Day is a celebration of relentless love, sacrifice and care that mothers have towards their children. As children grow up, a mother's concern for them also multiplies. Her entire focus shifts to the well-being of her children or we can say, her life starts revolving around them.

14.01.2022 When we lose someone who lives far away, we have to find a new way to grieve, especially if it is not possible to attend the funeral, visit the headstone, or see the family. As a result of these scenarios popping up more frequently as travel has increased, people have managed to source comfort in other ways.

14.01.2022 Wishing all mums, and the special women in our lives, a Happy Mother’s Day 2020.

09.01.2022 Please be careful driving around our grounds at the moment as we have a beautiful family living here.

06.01.2022 A death in the family that occurs away from your birthplace can be difficult for those left behind. It also opens up a number of questions regarding the final wishes and how those will be executed. For example; if your last will and testament only account for your wishes should you die in your home country, those handling your affairs overseas might have a hard time making it all happen. As a result, you may have a compromise. It’s always wise to discuss your wishes in any event with your family - especially if you are embarking on overseas travel.
