17.01.2022 Albany Youth Advisory Council with the support of the City of Albany, Yorgam, South Coast NRM and Palmerston Association hosted the NAIDOC Ball on Saturday November 14th 2020 at Centennial Stadium Function Centre. This was a department of Communities Youth Engagement funded event. Other sponsors included Rio Tinto and the City of Albany. The event run and planned by young people was open to the whole community as a celebration of Aboriginal Culture and our inclusive community.... 04.01.2022 Yesterday we had Maggie Dent hold a parenting seminar at the Centennial Function Centre. Thank you Maggie, it was a great session and a lot of very happy parents. The set up you can see in the picture is a theatre set up of 130 seats with walk ways either side and down middle with plenty of space for prams. Also a tea and coffee station at the back of the room which includes percolator coffee, a variety of tea, milo, juice and biscuits.
