07.01.2022 RIP Steven Garamy. This week we lost Steven, an avid parkrunner well known to runners across Sydney. While Steven enjoyed parkrun tourism, having parkrunned far and wide, as a Maroubra local, Centennial was his home.... He was an active member of Sydney Striders, Woodstock, Kirribilli Runners amongst other clubs. He was always seen at major running events, such as the City2Surf or Blackmores, and was encouraging of anyone that he knew, whatever their running ability. There is a wonderful tribute to Steven from RunNSW here: https://www.runnsw.com.au/2020/05/vale-steve-garamy/ He will be sorely missed. Centennial Team.

07.01.2022 All parkrun events in Australia and New Zealand have been suspended with immediate effect due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. At this stage we have cancelled events up to the end of March. Please follow our communications channels for ongoing updates. parkrun’s global position is published and will be updated here.
