18.01.2022 Greetings lurkers :) today marks another mile stone for C,A,S,H P/L , for today 15 years ago i got on a plane bound for Melbourne to be united with my "old truck" and first sidelifter.... i can remember vividly climbing into the ol girl for the first time and thinking "PFFFFFFFFT now i have to pay for it i had zero $$ but a a bit of plastic to start me off, and a special mention to Carey Winton whom without his help it wouldn't have happened, also to my Family Andrea Hill, Aaron Hill, Jaycob Hill without there support and trust in my intentions it would not have been possible, as you can imagine there are many more that require thanking, most know whom they are without mentioning as the list would take me into next week :) Thank You all :)

16.01.2022 SUPPORT LOCAL! We've all heard it, more so over these last few months with the impact of COVID-19 having disastrous effects on so many local, small business owners. Of course there are some local business's out there who will encourage you to support them, after all it benefit's their sales, bottom line and keeps local people employed. It makes us feel good to know that our money is staying in our town - or is it? Have you asked yourself;... "Is my local business also supporting other local business?" In some cases the answer is a resounding - NO! Why does this make a difference? Because by supporting other local business - it could be tradesman, suppliers, transport operators, etc... if you support them, their profits stay here too. It creates more jobs. More money dispersed through our community to other business's, to support schools, sporting groups and not-for-profit charity groups. So many people are doing it tough right now, and I for one have been disgusted to see that there are business's increasing prices "because they need it" and taking advantage of those with a bit extra to spend because they have been the fortunate recipients of some Government cash. Worse still, some local business are choosing to send their money to interstate companies and quit supporting their local providers all to save a few dollars, while increasing prices to you. Ultimately, the result is that your money is going elsewhere. And that's just not helping anyone. So, with another COVID-19 milestone approaching here in the Northern Territory with the re-opening of our borders this Friday (except to "hotspots" - Victorian's that means you!!!) ask yourself that question before you spend............ "IS THIS BUSINESS SUPPORTING OTHER LOCAL BUSINESS???" And when the National providers have shut their doors because "Alice Springs is no longer a viable operation", we will still be here....... or, will we? That depends on you! (Photo: Recent sidelifter road train headed to a remote location for the guys and gals at Asbuild NT - thanks for your support!)
