25.01.2022 Could we ask a favour? It seems there are some people out there who are determined to cause issues .... It has been brought to our attention that some rumours are circulating that our fundraiser for the veterinary equipment is a scam and that we are not a registered charity.... Firstly, we would like to put everyone's mind at ease that these rumours are TOTALLY false.... It is so disappointing and quite frankly disgusting that these people are stooping to new lows. We can confirm that we are a registered charity, and have our DGR status and if there remains a doubt in anyone's mind, please message us and we can show you the proof as we are totally transparent with all we do. Ultimately it will be the animals of the Central Coast who will be disadvantaged should these people be allowed to continue with their hate campaign and we are now asking ..... If you have read a post somewhere that includes any of the rumours, or if you have been sent a message because you shared or donated ... would you please let us know? All information will remain strictly confidential.... but we need to put a stop to this once and for all. While we already have some information, the more we can gather, the easier it will be to have these people dealt with. Thank you so much for your support - it is so very much appreciated

18.01.2022 We are so close but still so far.....Can you spare anything to help us?

10.01.2022 URGENT HELP DONATIONS NEEDED PLEASE SHARE I need your urgent help tonight. It’s crucial and especially in the current environment I’m asking you to please h...elp us. For the last 12 months I have been working on a project with my dear friends Chris Bowden from Claws N Paws, Dr Emetia Cull from West Gosford Vet, my best friend Kim as well as Sarah Lufe who has been running our other rescue Central Coast Community Rescue which will benefit the animals of the Central Coast. We’ve just been granted our license by the Veterinary Practitioners Board which enables us to open our very own Veterinary Clinic named the "Central Coast Community Vet". This is game changing.. for our animals. For our precious animals doing it tough. Especially in these times. Such such tough times for us all. We know there is a real need to help those people struggling to get affordable vet treatment for their beloved animals and as we have personally seen numerous times, animals have suffered until their owners could afford to treat them or euthanise them. No animal deserves to be suffering due to circumstances beyond people's control - We want to help where we can and to do this we need to get up and running fast and this is where you can help. We are so close to finishing the renovations on the new premises but we aren’t there yet. We’ve come so so far but need your urgent help tonight to to replace the old outdated and some broken equipment as well as getting some funds to get us off the ground. I couldn’t bare to see all our hard work go to waste. We know we will be inundated on Day 1. It’s pretty tough out there as you know. We know people with pets are struggling and we want to be there to offer affordable vet treatment to our precious animals when they need our help. We receive no government funding. Nothing, so rely on your help to get us there. Tonight we need $65,000. It’s a big amount, it’s our biggest mission yet but without your help we won’t be able to buy the equipment (which is really expensive) and have enough funds to get us off the ground. Just $5 from each and every one of you would help us so much. It’s just the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will go directly to help saving a life. Please donate now: https://central-coast-animal-care-facility.giveeasy.org/urg P.S I’m really hoping that when I wake up in the morning we have hit our goal.

08.01.2022 PLEASE JOIN US IN OUR PLIGHT TO GET OUR VET OPEN ...... Please don’t think your donation is to small if one million people gave $1.00 then we would have $1,000,000 We can’t wait to serve our community with our not for profit facility .. Lots of Love from Dee (Central Coast Animal Care Facility), Chris (Claws N Paws) and Emetia (West Gosford Vet)

08.01.2022 We are hoping that we will be all set and ready to go soon .... We are here for the community and will offer affordable vet fees for your furry family members ... While you are waiting ... here are some tips, just in case your furry friend is not so much of a fan of the vet...... Some dogs only go in the car to go to the vet’s office, so he or she will suspect something is up as soon as you tell him to jump in. To remedy or prevent this, start taking your dog to fun places in the car a park, a new place to walk, a lake, or the beach. You want your dog to associate the car with good stuff, not just the scary stuff (although we are only here for their good - they just don't know it!) Visit the vet office even when nothing is going to happen. Call ahead and ask the vet staff if you can stop by and weigh your dog, or just stop by to say hi and for a treat. We will be happy to help you work on this! If you have more than one dog, take both of them to the vet together, even if one isn’t getting anything done. Same as above, it gives your dog a chance to be there without anything scary happening. Practice handling your dog and touching his feet, ears, tail, etc. as soon as you get him as a puppy or adult dog. This will make the process of the vet checking your dog a bit less stressful. It’s also a good practice because the more time you spend checking your dog, the more likely you will notice any new lumps or bumps. We look forward to seeing you all as soon as the doors are open! Look how happy Max is to see our amazing vet Dr. Emetia :)
