Its been a labour of love ( with blood, sweat & tears thrown in the mix) Built by Auston Corbett in 1973 in Ballina, KARIONG has had a very busy life! Fishing Trawler in Sydney Harbour, Deep Sea Fishing Charters from Saratoga, Leisure vessel with an indigenous group on the Mid North Coast , Leisure craft for a live aboard retired couple who took her all the way up to Lizard Island & now to return to Saratoga so our boys & their kids can jump off her again! Keep an eye out in the New Year - KARIONG will be on her original mooring in Sara Bay!

04.01.2022 A quick update on what's happening, plus what's been happening so far this week. A quick chat with Central Coast Councils Heritage person yesterday confirmed th...e Boat sheds Heritage significance to ship building in our region and there desire to keep the building in tact as the Boat Shed is on the local Heritage register. Tomorrow is the big one as we sit down with local MP Adam Crouch. There will be two different views attending tomorrow's meeting to discuss the sites future, Currently we have over 500 signatures on our petition to save the site from demolition. The site is required to keep Central Coast ferries operating out of Empire Bay. The site could be used by up to 6 community user groups. Such as Empire Bay fishing club. Central coast rowers. Transport Heritage Australia Men's shed The site has the rare opportunity to be self funding into the future as a community asset. If you haven't already signed the petition please jump on board. 02.01.2022 And off he goes - sort of ! Captain Tim has been successful in gaining employment with Sydney Ports skippering slightly different vessels to ferries! He will still be involved in the background, you just won’t see him on the ferries . For the last 14 years Tim has guided CCF through lots of ups and lots of downs . Tim has worked hard to grow this family business. We have gone from 1 to 3 ferries and flourishing business ( before COVID) . Tim is highly regarded in this industry and we are enormously proud of him & wish him the best for his new wheel time adventures. Captains Danny, Brett, Andy, Chris & George will still be getting you to work etc on time & we welcome Captain Dave to CCF starting Monday 23rd .
