24.01.2022 The issues raised regarding Central Coast Council's policies regarding trapping will be discussed at the next council meeting on Tuesday 29th January, 2019. I will be addressing the issues directly to council at this meeting. It would be great to have some support there. If you are able to attend or wish to talk, please send a PM.... Thank you!
13.01.2022 Update! I addressed council 2 weeks ago. You only get 3 minutes to speak which simply wasn’t long enough.... They (council) discuss the matter later (the public aren’t involved) and it was deferred to the next meeting. I’m trying to get an up date from councillor Greg Best. It’s concerning that this was posted on the Wadalba Community Page indicating council are continuing to bait and continuing to use foot traps. No signage, no notification to residents.
11.01.2022 DOGS AND CATS ARE AT RISK 1080 BAITING IS LETHAL TO CATS AND DOGS - PLEASE SHARE BAITING HAS STILL BEEN OCCURRING ACROSS THE CENTRAL COAST even though the council's press release in November last year stated that all trapping and baiting would cease until community engagement took place. PLEASE CHECK THE PHOTO BELOW THAT WAS IN THURSDAYS EXPRESS ADVOCATE SHOWING WHERE THIS BAITING IS AND HAS BEEN TAKING PLACE... Currently you will only know what is happening if you check the council website or read the paper so please SHARE AND SPREAD THE WORD. No other notice is given. Signs are only just being put up due to the complaints made to council. 11.01.2022 Will hopefully have an update from Central Coast Council no later than the 26th January 2019. I have been advised that some of the questions will be answered by then. Will keep you all posted.
10.01.2022 Central Coast Council are now stating they have no intention of organising any community engagement with regards to trappings. See formal response below. Christina...Continue reading
