16.01.2022 We are currently trying to organise a meeting with council to discuss funding. As most of you are aware the Central Highland Regional Council has given the approval and the plans are in place for a 1/8 mile drag racing strip to be built at the same complex as the Go Cart track in Emerald.

14.01.2022 Things are still moving, all be it slowly. We have finished our proposal to council and are now waiting for some letters of support from the Police, ANDRA, and also the land holder which should come in by the end of the week. We are still planning on holding some race meetings next year. Once we get approval from council we will the be able to press forward and start to organise these events.

13.01.2022 Recently a couple of our local racers Peter Wheeler with Michael Cameron driving his dragster and Ray from RJS Electrical and a couple of Clermont boys went to Benaraby raceway for the 1/8 mile series. Everyone involved had a great weekend with Michael getting licensed in the dragster and then making it all the way to the final were he got runner up. With the other boys running PBs and all come home in one piece.

10.01.2022 Thank You for liking Central Highlands Drag Racing Association. As of the 17th of February our application for incorporation has been successful. This allows as to be formally recognised as an association by the Office of Fair Trading QLD.
