25.01.2022 ***ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS*** If you intend playing hockey this season please notify your club immediately. If you are new to Moora, we have four clubs in our Association, Robins, Strikers, Miling and Watheroo and all would welcome you with open arms.... We need at minimum 4 Senior sides to continue the Senior Competition in 2021 and beyond. Watheroo in particular is struggling for numbers this season and should they not be able to confirm a side by next Monday the association may have no alternative but to cancel the Senior Competition for this season. Should this eventuate C Grade will continue but this grade only caters to boys year 7 and under and girls Year 9 and under. If you can help Watheroo out with their Senior side please contact Michelle Pond on 0427 736 091 to register your interest.

22.01.2022 Results and Ladder for C Grade after yesterday’s matches at Miling. C Grade have two more fixtured rounds to be played alongside the Seniors finals.

22.01.2022 CMHA would just like to remind everyone, especially those new to hockey that there is a small gate fee charged upon entry to all of our fixtured games. Adults $2 Children (High School and under) $1... This is a very small fee and is applicable to all who enter the grounds on game day including spectators, players, coaches, etc.

22.01.2022 Congratulations Robins Red - GF winners for 2020 Season. Final score 2-1 - it was a fantastic game to watch with neither side giving an inch and playing hard throughout. Best on Ground for Grand Final - Myra Warrell - well done Myra!... Robins Black C Grade were overall winners for 2020 - it was a very tight race with Watheroo and only a point the difference between first and second at the start of the day. Awards on Seniors went to.... Hunter Even - Fairest and Best 2020 Clare Douglas -Runner Up Fairest and Best 2020 Ashley Warrell - Highest Goal Scorer 2020 Awards to C Grade.... 21.01.2022 THANK YOU A very BIG thank you to our CW Coach Charlee Borinelli and our team Manageress Naomi Douglas for volunteering to take on these roles for the team. Without them it wouldn’t have happened. Also thanks must go to all of the supporters who turned up to watch a game or two over the weekend - there were too many to mention.... Lastly another big thank you to the players who gave up their time over the long weekend and represented our Association and their Clubs - they all did a magnificent job making it to the Semi Finals and putting on a fantastic show for everyone! Well done to everyone on what has been a fantastic finish to our somewhat disjointed season and the return of CMHA’s representation at Senior CW after a couple of years absence - again you have done us all proud, we didn’t take home the big one this year but certainly had fun trying We hope everyone enjoys whatever they may have planned for the off season and look forward to a bigger and better season in 2021.

20.01.2022 The Seniors played their final fixtured match today and below are the results and final ladder positions. Robins Red will play Miling next Saturday in Moora in the Elimination Final to decide who plays Robins Black the following week in the Grand Final. Congratulations to all sides in what has been a very different season and good luck to those playing in Finals!

19.01.2022 Unfortunately there can only be one winner and today Robins Red took home the money. Commiserations to Miling on their last game for the season. Both teams played extremely well and fought it out to the end with scores tied at full time 1-1. Robins Red scored the Golden Goal to give them the win and take them through to the Grand Final next Sunday at Miling where they will face off against club mates Robins Black.... Congratulations to all sides who have played this season - it has been a very different but somewhat entertaining season and we look forward to seeing everyone at Miling for the Grand Final and of course C Grade Presentations next Sunday.

18.01.2022 After our meeting tonight, the GF and C Grade Presentations have been set for Sunday 20th September (the day following the Moora Show) at Miling. Attached is a copy of the fixtures for those that may have 'misplaced' them.

17.01.2022 All Clubs, Umpires and Coaches please note the following updated rules for our games which will take effect from this weekend. C Grade games will have the following times applied: Length of quarters - 15 minutes... 1/4 time and 3/4 time breaks - 2 minutes 1/2 time break - 5 minutes Senior games will have the following times applied Length of quarters - 17 minutes 1/4 and 3/4 time breaks - 2 minutes 1/2 time break - 5 minutes It will also be a requirement that all players in all grades including Minkey must be registered with their Club before taking the field. There are a couple of exceptions to this registration requirement and your Clubs will have full details. Failure to comply with the registration requirement may see your team forced to forfeit the match so if you are not sure please contact your Club representative for clarification.

12.01.2022 IT’S GRAND FINAL TIME! This year’s GF will be played at Miling Sports Ground this coming SUNDAY 20th Sept. Miling P&C will be running a canteen from the Pavillion throughout the day selling morning and afternoon tea plates, pod coffee and cold drinks. There will also be a sausage sizzle so don’t forget to bring your cash ... The day will start off with the last fixtured games for C Grade beginning at 10.30am followed by C Grade Presentations after the final game is played - approximately 1.30pm. The Grand Final game between Robins Black and Robins Red is scheduled to commence at 2pm on the Football Oval and all alliances have been thrown out the door with both teams opting to train separately this week! Good luck to all C Graders in their final matches, it will be a cliff hanger with Robins Black and Watheroo battling for top spot on the ladder and C Grade Premiers for 2020. Currently Robins Black hold the top position by 1 point! We will also be re-presenting awards for CMHA Seniors F&B, Runner Up and Highest Goal Scorer immediately following the GF (for those that couldn’t make it to our Association Dinner last Thursday) along with Premiers for 2020. We wish all of our players the best of luck and thank all of the Clubs for taking on game day duties on the day. Spectators are encouraged to make a day of it and come along to Miling to show your support for your club as well as enjoy watching some great hockey at all levels. See you all there!

08.01.2022 What a ripper of a game - sadly we didn’t win - but the best game played over the two days! Score was 0-0 at full time - after one on one the score was 3-2 with Pilbara moving to the GF. Bad luck ladies but we’ll done to you all on a great CW - you did the Association and your clubs proud!
