Well we would like to inform you all that this is % NOT TRUE and bring this #fakenews to your attention In fact, these photos were taken just yesterday between Doomadgee and Hells Gate. When travelling from Hells Gate to Borroloola we have been advising all travellers that the first 300km are good, and the last 50km into town is quite corrugated and rough so to drive slowly in accordance with these conditions. We continually gather information about our roads from the people that know them well - the ones that are driving on them! The roads are well and truly open and so are we. We are welcoming a steady flow of traffic through from both sides of the border daily. These include people towing caravans, trailers & boats.
