20.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE - 23rd March 2020 We are currently OPEN FOR BUSINESS as normal and welcome your support during these uncertain times. We are taking measures to ensure the safety of our team and our clients:... 1. We are frequently cleaning high 'touch' areas around clinic, such as door knobs, chairs, desks, and the reception counter. 2. Our osteopaths ALWAYS wash hands after every client. 3. We are not shaking hands with each other and clients at this time. 4. We have removed all magazines and toys from the waiting area. 5. We have spaced out the chairs in the waiting room and encourage you to stay in your cars until your appointment time to avoid unnecessary contact. Our receptionist can call you when the Osteopaths are ready if you'd prefer, just let us know. 6. In the treatment rooms we have removed the face covers, and we are disinfecting them after EVERY client. 7. We are politely declining to treat anyone who is visibly unwell. 8. We will be sending team members home if they have any of the symptoms. 9. Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes are available for use at reception. 10. All Osteopaths have completed the Australian government Health Departments online course on the coronavirus. 11. Don't forget - online bookings are available at https://central-osteopathy.au1.cliniko.com/bookings Please continue to support your local community, we look forward to seeing you for your appointment! We will continue to update you as changes occur. 'Take care - no but really', The Central Osteopathy Team

18.01.2022 Hi guys, we are very excited to welcome our new Osteopath Tim. Tim will be starting on Tuesday 11th February. He will be at the clinic on Tuesday's and Saturday's to help you with all your Osteopathic needs. Here is a little bit about Tim: I have recently completed my Osteopathic Masters degree at Victoria University, graduating in 2019. I have previously completed a Bachelor of Science (clinical) and also a Bachelor or Exercise and Sport Science, with an extensive backgrou...nd in exercise and sport science. I have always enjoyed being physically active and have a strong belief in the benefits of manual therapy and exercise. My passion for Osteopathy began during my younger years playing junior football and basketball, where I got to see first hand how effective Osteopathic treatment can be, especially in the acute setting. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors and physically active, particularly over summer and the warmer months.

16.01.2022 Our amazing Osteopath's would like to wish all our wonderful patients and their families a very happy and Merry Christmas!! From Ben, Lauren, Jane and Cheryise!!

14.01.2022 Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter!! Be safe and enjoy Hope your having a great long weekend!! We will be back in the clinic for normal hours on Tuesday

08.01.2022 Stage 2 - Update on Osteopathic Treatment We are still operating based on government advice! We are fortunate that we have a large (28m2) waiting room and separate reception area. According to the government advice this would allow up to 7 people in the waiting room. However, if you would prefer to wait in your car, please call reception on arrival (Ph: 5996 6987) and we will call you back when the osteopath is ready. This is one of the many measures we are employing to minim...ize spread of the virus. We hope to continue to support the healthy system by remaining open and assisting patient through this difficult time. If we can ease the burden on GP's and hospitals by treating musculoskeletal issues, we feel we are doing our part. Thank you for your ongoing support! From the Team at Central Osteopathy

07.01.2022 Hello Followers, We have only a few appointments left for the remainder of this week. If you need any aches or pains sorted before the long weekend, hurry in before they book up!... Bookings can be made by calling our friendly reception team on 5996-6987 or online www.centralosteopathy.com.au/contact-us/ Have a Great Day. :)

06.01.2022 Stage 3 - Update on Osteopathic Treatment Victoria has today announced stage three restrictions in relation to the Coronavirus situation. These mostly relate to social gatherings and distancing, as a result we are still open for patients to receive osteopathic treatment.... However, as per the guidelines introduced today, it is recommended if you are over the age of 70 to try and isolate to help keep you safe and well. If you have any queries about this please call the clinic. As we said previously we are maintaining the highest possible hygiene standards throughout this situation to help reduce the spread of the virus, and following advice from the Government and Department of Health. We hope to continue to support the health system by remaining open and assisting patients through this difficult time. If we can ease the burden on GP's and hospitals by treating musculoskeletal issues, we feel we are doing our part. We also recognise the impact pain can have on people's mental health, so if we can assist with pain levels we hope that we can help patients through this difficult time. As the premier said today everyone has a role to play and every little bit helps. If you have any questions please call the clinic on 5996 6987, our reception is still available 8.30am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-12pm Saturdays. Stay safe and please follow the guidelines recommended by the government. Kind regards, The team at Central Osteopathy

02.01.2022 Dear Central Osteopathy patients, As you may be aware, the Victorian government plans to implement lockdown of non-essential services over the next 48 hours in light of the Coronavirus situation. At the moment we are unsure which category Allied Health including Osteopathy falls into. As we have implemented enhanced hygiene standards over the past couple of weeks, we see it as safe for patients to still attend for treatment. So at this stage we remain open until further noti...ce from the government. As this situation is changing rapidly, however, there is a chance we may be forced to close temporarily in the near future. If you are in need of an appointment, please book online tonight or call us tomorrow, we still have appointments available tomorrow Monday 23rd March. We continue to urge that if you are feeling any cold / flu like symptoms, please postpone your appointment until you are feeling better. If you have any enquiries or concerns please call us on 5996 6987. Kind regards, the team at Central Osteopathy. See more
