25.01.2022 A reminder to all members who are intending to attend the 2020 Australian National Show at AELEC in February 2020. All Owners MUST forward a copy of your horses' registration papers with your entries.

24.01.2022 To All Members Committee would like to remind you all that our NEW WEBSITE is up & running. Every financial member has been sent an email with Username & tem...porary Password included so you can all log in and start using the online services now available to us all. However our website data shows that quite a number of you have either not received that email or else you have not opened the email and logged in for the first time. Our data also shows quite a few emails have bounced & come up as undeliverable. This means some email addresses are no longer current. If you have not received a login email from AMHS, please message us with your CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS so we can edit your record & make sure you receive your login details. Once you are logged in, you can also Download the PHONE APP so you can Receive notifications on your phone, Have your membership card on your phone, Catch up with the latest news posts on your phone & Access various other Society services straight from your phone. The SALES PAGE is also up & running. Some members have already uploaded their SALES ADS. Have a look for yourself. Sales Page is also available from your phone. Committee is very pleased to be able to offer members these online services to make your Society more accessible & responsive to everyone. Please get involved asap by LOGGING IN.

23.01.2022 Happy New Year Members National Committee is very happy to be able to let you all know that ONLINE ENTRIES are now available via our website amhs.com.au Once yo...u log in, all details are on the Home page. Entering is a smooth, seamless process that is extremely user friendly. Payment options are by Credit Card, by EFT directly to AMHS National Account or by cheque if you wish. EFT payment receipts should be emailed to [email protected] to be checked off against your online entries. Cheques should be mailed to the usual AMHS address, also to be checked off against your online entries. There is a manual entries workorder available to download from the website if you need it, or you can email [email protected] to have one sent to you if necessary. We are excited at this step forward for AMHS. We hope all future shows including Feature Shows & State Shows will have this online entry facility for easy access for everyone. Our Society is growing in size all the time, and this will make life so much simpler for anyone taking entries in the future. Your National Committee

22.01.2022 Greetings Members To help you cope with our imposed lockdown why not visit the Photo Gallery on the AMHS Website. With the invaluable assistance from our Web Ho...st - Member Jungle - we have managed to kill the bugs preventing you from seeing the photos in all their glory. This has now been addressed and fixed. If you have already waded through the photos and got frustrated, or you haven't yet viewed them, I urge you to visit the "new look" photo gallery. Happy Viewing!!!

19.01.2022 To all AMHS Members On Thursday Jan 16, National Committee sent an email to all current financial members via our new Membership Services provider, MemberJungle.... To date, our email stats show less than half the emails sent have been opened/read. Possibilities are Your listed email address is not up to date It has gone to your Junk Mail You have not seen it You have seen it but not opened it. If you are not a current financial member you will not have been sent the email. Communication with ALL our members is a vital necessity for the smooth operation of our society. As members are spread out right across Australia, this service is the network that holds AMHS together as a cohesive, informed group. Your National Committee would be really appreciative if every member could activate their login details and be part of this communication network. If you receive a login email with temporary password, you need to set up your own password within 48 hours, because the temporary one is only good for that long. After that, we have to start again with a new email. Please everyone, make the effort to be part of the email notification service, so we can communicate with you all. If you want the login email resent, or have any questions, please email [email protected] If you include your phone number in the email, we can call you if necessary to answer questions. It is hard to keep track of your requests if you msg different state FB pages or the National FB Page. Only three National Committee members have Admin access to the MemberJungle site, so your requests have to filter their way to one of those three people so we can act on them. The email site is monitored daily. This Member Services Site is a great assett to AMHS. As well as being the Communication medium, the site allows you to do so much more for yourself from your phone or computer which reduces the workload tremendously on the volunteers who make up National Committee. PLEASE LOGIN & GET ON BOARD ASAP! Your National Committee.

16.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS The 2020 National Show Premium has been amended. The version that is currently on the website (as of 10.00 p.m. on 10.11.19) is the NEW version and should be used when completing entries as some of the class numbers have been altered. (If a horse is entered western regardless of breeding it can only compete in Western for the whole show) Miniature, Small, Little and Small foundations classes are for horses with 12.5% or less American Shetland breeding (excludes Western and Derived) AO Miniature, Small, Little and Small Foundation are Open classes (excludes Western type, Pony and Pure American Shetland) Derivative classes are for all horses with more than 12.5% American Shetland Breeding (excludes Western type and horses under 12.5% American Shetland) Regards Your AMHS National Committee

07.01.2022 Hi Members\ Today is the last day for entries to be sent by post so that they will reach us in time for entry closing day. They will need to be sent by Express Post and before you send them, you will need to scan and email the entries to ensure that you make the deadline.
