23.01.2022 Congratulations to our fab CAQ swimmers who took part in the school triathlon last week..for the most part our kids did the swim leg of the team events, but Meg was crazy enough to do an individual one as well.after being the first out of the water in her individual race, she backed it up with the swim leg for the team event!! Huge effort from Finn, Caleb and Will who led their teams to silver medal finishes, Jasmine and Ruby Kingma whose teams both finished an impressive 5th, and Dion who led his team to finish 12th. Well done kiddos for representing your schools and your swimming club so beautifully #TeamCAQ #Teamwork #ACCSchoolSport #SchoolSportWA

22.01.2022 Please note that the clubrooms will be open for all our members this afternoon. Parents, you don't have to swelter poolside in this scorching weather....the aircon will be on!! #StayCool #TeamCAQ

22.01.2022 Another fabulous effort from #TeamCAQ at the Peel Shortcourse meet. We had 44 Personal Bests from our team of 20 swimmers. Our list of great PBs included from Finn (1m36s) in the 400 freestyle, Jasmin over 7s in the 50 fly, Troy with nearly 14s in the 50 back, Madison M 9s in the 50 breast and 12s in the 100 breast, Andrew 9s in the 200 fly, Dion 5s in the 100 free and a fabulous Short Course debut for our little Hope and Gemma B. Great work guys....you make us proud!! A shout out to Harry, Jorden and Jasmin K who achieved 4 PBs each and Jada, Ellie, Maddie and Andrew with 3 each. Georgina, Hana, Ruby, Troy, Sophie, Kenzie and Finn all ended the meet with 2 PBs and well done to Lorraine and Dion with one each. #TeamCAQ #SwimmingWA #BayswaterWaves #CityofBayswater

20.01.2022 2020 saw some big changes around the pool for CAQ. Our Committee worked extremely hard to secure clubrooms with the help of our wonderful City of Bayswater councillors, and the continued support of Bayswater Waves enabled our club to be very much in the public eye at our training pool with our new signs. We managed to get a photo just before Christmas of our President, Perry de Lacy, with the people behind the signs. Elda Kingston, designer extraordinaire, took time out of ...her busy schedule to take the photos and to put together these eye-catching designs. Together with CAQ's long standing supplier, Bokay Signage, they achieved an amazing result. We are so lucky to have such talented people in our midst, supporting the club with their time and their talent. Thank you Elda Perry and Bokay Signage for all your hard work. We're looking forward to some more CAQ signage gracing our clubrooms in the coming months. #TeamCAQ #BayswaterWaves #CityofBayswater #BokayGroup #HereWeCome #HappyNewYear2021 See more
