17.01.2022 Most would think that that’s blood secreting from the laminae but it’s actually bruising that sits beneath the hoof wall caused from laminitis. Keep in mind, that just because your hoof looks normal from the exterior, doesn’t mean there can’t be any trauma under the surface! Be vigilant, it’s spring and that means laminitis season!
