23.01.2022 World record breaker // CCGS alumni, Charlie Hunter (2014) has been breaking world and Australian records in Arkansas over the weekend. On Saturday he competed in the ‘Distance Medley Relay’ where he ran the 800M leg. Charlie ran 1.47.65, just outside the current Australian record of 1.47.27 - AND - his team recorded the world’s fastest time ever in this event. Last night he backed it up with a fantastic individual performance to become the Australian Indoor Mile record holde...r with a time of 3.54.54. What an achievement!! Congrats to Charlie and his team.

Guest alumni shared insights into careers and lessons learnt, the Festival of Big Ideas encouraged students to reimagine solutions to community problems and 3,000 birthing kits were packed with help from @Zonta Club of Central Coast ready for shipment to Sub Saharan Africa. Great work Year 10!

17.01.2022 Chambers Admin has been transformed into a Christmas Wonderland! Thanks to the incredible talents of our Technology and Creative Arts teachers we're getting into the Christmas spirit early! With giant xmas baubles, lights, candy canes, a gingerbread man and more, there's even a special mailbox for our younger students to write their messages to Santa. We're excited for the season of goodwill to begin.

She headed to Sydney earlier this week to start filming the Callback Virtual Concert which will be streamed to schools across NSW. Leah Vitler (Accelerated Dance) was also selected as a reserve for Callback which is a wonderful achievement as well. Well done girls. We are so proud of you!

The line stretched over 120 metres and collectively we raised almost $1500! 03.01.2022 Congratulations to Year 8 student Ava Simos who has qualified to compete in the Australian Athletics Championships next year. Ava came home last week with a bronze medal in the 90m and 200m hurdles at the NSW All Schools Athletics comp. Congrats to Ava and to all our athletes who took part - particularly as much of the athletics season has been cancelled this year.
