23.01.2022 Tonight would have been our monthly CCHS General Meeting. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, we are unable to go ahead with a face to face meeting. However, that doesn’t stop us from going live. We do have a special guest speaker that will be going live. Instead of having it at 7pm tonight, we have scheduled our live event for this Saturday 18th at 11am, as we do need daylight hours for this talk. We won’t tell you who will be speaking, at this stage. We will keep it as a surprise! But, we will tell you the talk will be about outdoor setups and enclosures and you will get to see some really awesome animals that will be more than willing to show themselves off at this time. So who will be joining us? Q&A will of course be accepted during this session. Look forward to seeing you all online!

22.01.2022 Unfortunately, all of our General Meetings have been cancelled until further notice, due to COVID-19 and the ban on using community halls and non essential gatherings. If you require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook or email. We wish all of our members and their families to remain safe and healthy during these times. Remember, only leave home if essential, social distancing and practice hygiene.

17.01.2022 Unfortunately our Committee have made the decision to cancel our CCHS Reptile Expo, which was scheduled for Sunday 17th May. This decision was made after Federal, State and Territory Leaders have advised of a ban on all non-essential gatherings, with more than 500 people, to minimise the impact on health with the spread of coronavirus. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, although out of our control. If any stall holder or breeder would like a refund on payments made, please contact us or we are happy to hold any payments made for our future expo.

17.01.2022 Information for all of our Venomous Keeper Members and friends. If you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us. If you are selected for the audit process and during these pandemic times, you don’t feel comfortable having anyone visit your home, that is a perfectly acceptable reason to postpone the audit process until the pandemic is over.

13.01.2022 Incredibly sad to hear of the passing of a brilliant Herpetologist Michael J Tyler. Professor Michael J. Mike Tyler is the author or co-author of a large number of books and over 300 scientific papers, mostly on amphibians:
