22.01.2022 Recently Umina Beach Womens Bowling Club donated a guitar and case to Central Coast Kids in Need. Local indigenous artist Russ Molony offered his serices to do artwork on the guitar. The guitar is being dispayed at Grant Molony Gallery at Long Jetty and the asking price is $1200. ... So if you are looking for a unique gift for someone go along and check it out. All proceeds from the sale goes to Central Coast Kids in Need to assist families of seriously ill children on the Central Coast.

22.01.2022 This year we were fortunate to have 9 Wishing Trees at various locations as well as gifts , cash and gift card donations from individuals Our thanks a must go to: Wyong Rugby Leagues Club group,... Wyong Roo's Foundation, Patrons of Bateau Bay Bowling Club, Chittaway Tavern, Property Central 2261, Forresters Beach Retirement Village Residents and Social Committee, Erina Kindergarten, Charter Hall Bateau Bay Square, Hodondo Homes, Colleen Smith and Associates, Bateau Bay Road Post Office, Capital One Real Estate, Cincotta Pharmacy Killarney Vale, Warnies Cafe, Central Coast Bulldogs, North Homeware Bay Village, Wholelife Pharmacy Bay Village. This year we are on track to deliver gifts to approximately 133 families - 302 kids. 20 Single Mums, 3 Single Dads and 4 Nans. We also have 10 Hampers donated by the Wyong Roo's Foundation to deliver to families who we feel are doing it tough this festive season. Our wholehearted thanks goes to everyone who donated and to the people who have help sort,wrap and deliver these gifts. A outstanding community effort in sharing the love this festive season. 19.01.2022 Please go along to your nearest McDonalds and buy a burger,a pair of silly socks or just make a donation so they can continue to support Ronald McDonald Houses so they can continue to subsidise the cost to stay there.To many families on our books RMDH becomes their 2nd home whilst their child undergoes treatment.



18.01.2022 Hooray we did it. Voting closed Wednesday 26th August and Central Kids in Need ended up with a staggering 1145 votes which means we are the winner of $2000. A huge thank you to all our followers and supporters who took the time to vote... . 15.01.2022 On Monday Loz and Rhonda were invited to attend a meeting with Parliamentary Secretary/Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch to discuss ways to lobby support for Central Coast Kids in Need from the NSW Government. The information shared at this meeting were both interesting and enlightening. Watch this space for updates on any outcomes from this meeting.

This is a wondetful gesture to assist us to share the love at Christmas. 15.01.2022 Loz and Rhonda today attended Sporties @ Ettalong Bowling Club Christmas Charity Day. CCKIN were presented with a mock cheque for $25,000 the breakdown being $10,000 raised by Sporties, $15,000 donation from Bendigo Banks on the Central Coast. ... Also on the day Woy Woy Leagues Club social group presented us with a cheque for $1,000. As always a great day was had by all a delicious lunch was served and a visit from Santa. Our wholehearted thanks goes to this amazing group for their tireless efforts in raising funds for Central Coast Kids in Need . We are extremely grateful for their continued support over the past 5 years. Keep up the great work you are doing.

15.01.2022 Well our Christmas Gift Appeal for 2020 is over with all presents sorted,wrapped and delivered. This year we were able to deliver gifts to 138 Families-329 kids, 23 single mums, 3 single dads and 4 Nans who are raising their grandchildren. I am so proud of us. ... Thank you so much to everyone who so generously donated gifts and gift cards, the volunteers who wrapped, packed and delivered the gifts. It is wonderful to be able to share the Love. What a fantastic community effort. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of the families we support, our supporters in the community and our volunteers a safe and happy festive season and a happy prosperous 2021. 14.01.2022 Melbourne Cup day saw Loz & Rhonda attend a luncheon with the ladies from P & P Quilters. On the day we were presented with 20 beautiful handcrafted quilts bring the total to 55 quilts for the year that they have donated to CCKIN. These amazingly talented ladies work tirelessly to create these quilts, many of them personally taylored to suit the childs likes.... They not only donate to CCKIN but also We Care Connect and Catholic Care to be distributed to sick and disadvantaged kids on the Central Coast. 14.01.2022 CCKIN were invited to Forresters Beach Retirement Village today and were presented with a cheque for $1500 from their knitting group. Thank you ladies for your continued support and keep up the great work you do for the community.

13.01.2022 Bulldogs raffles at Budgewoi Soccer Club yesterday. On the day the boys presented CCKIN with a cheque for $1600 and sevetal envelopes with personal donations towards our Christmas Gift Drive these donations totalled $515 what a fantastic effort from a great bunch of community minded people. Central Coast Bulldogs have been supporting Central Coast Kids in Need for 5 years and words cannot express how much we appreciate this ongoing support. You are truely local heros.... Keep up the great work you are doing in the community

09.01.2022 Last weekend Wyoming Football Club held their Old Boys Charity event. The event was well attended and raised $1650 for Central Coast Kids in Need . Our appreciation go to them for choosing CCKIN to support and our wholehearted thanks goes to all concerned.... Cheers

09.01.2022 On the 7th August the staff at the 7 Wyong Rugby Leagues Clubs raised money for Posie. She is a 3 year old little girl who has been on Central Coast Kids in Need books for many years. Posie has life limiting dwarfism. ... The fundraiser raised $1,551 which was used to purchase a IPAD for Posie and the balance will be used to purchase a specialised food nutrient that can only be purchased from the USA. The photo shows Gina Coghlan from the Wyong Rugby Leagues Club group presenting Posie’s grandmother Karen with the IPAD and cheque. Due to COVID Posie and her mum are in isolation. A HUGE Thank you to the management and staff for this generous gesture in assisting this young family and for all you do in the community.

08.01.2022 Every year Wyoming Football club holds a charity day to raise funds for important local causes. Whilst our event will be small in size due to Covid restrictions we will be holding a Old Boys charity day starting at 11am and finishing around 6pm at Alan Davidson Park Wyoming. 07.01.2022 Today Central Coast Kids in Need we involved in filming a segment to be either tonight or Tuesday night on NBN Central Coast which is on at 6pm nightly. 04.01.2022 Loz and Rhonda were ubvited to attend this years Westfield Local Heros announcement. A lovely presentation and lunch was held at Event Cubemas Gold Class. Congratulations to this years deserved winners Mel King- We Care Connect. Les Smith- Berkeley Vale Rural Fire Service and Pauline Maniskas- Disabled Surfers Central Coast each won $10,000 for their charity. Westfield are to be applauded for their community incentives and support they give to the local community.

04.01.2022 After our Annual General and committee meeting on Sunday night we had a Christmas Get together Dinner at Bateau Bay Bowling Club thanks to the generousity of Wyong Rugby Leagues Club group and The Roos Foundation. The service was great, staff friendly and helpful ,food was amazing Everyone had a great time. ... Our thanks goes to all concerned in making this a great night.

04.01.2022 Christmas came early to Central Coast Kids in Need with the Management and Staff at Bateau Bay Square yesterday presenting CCKIN with $1000 in Kmart Gift Cards for our Christmas Present drive. Bateau Bay Square-Charter Hall have been great supporters of Central Coast Kids in Need for many years and give all the proceeds from their Kiddykabs which totals to several thousands of $$ each year to us. Our wholehearted thanks goes to all concerned for this generous donation and appreciatio for their continued support.

03.01.2022 Freemasons Central Coast today held a cheque presentation at Wamberal Surf Club Cafe on the day they presented Central Coast Kids in Need and Gosford North Rotary (SOKS) with cheques for $3,000 each. Victoria and Hudson Olssen we invited to attend and Victoria spoke about what CCKIN has done and is doing for her young family. A HUGE thank you to Freemasons on the Central Coast for their continued support and congratulations on what they do in the community.

02.01.2022 Rhonda and Loz had the pleasure of meeting with The Hon Gareth Ward MP Minister for Families, Community & Disability Services and Parliamentary Secretary/Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch, today at Bateau Beach Cafe to discuss possible government assistance for Central Coast Kids In Need. The Minister was very impressed and in awe of the work Central Coast Kids In Need does in the community and he will look into ways he may be able to get assistance for us.
